Watching you act super happy about strong cards you pulled after a wave, only to immediately click the skip button which threw those cards away, was painful to watch thanks

As a heads up, as much as I love this game in theory, it has some disappointing balance issues. Garrisons are profoundly weak, whereas towers are for the most part devastatingly strong. There are no weakness/resistances, so you just go one damage type, ideally on towers, and even then most of the time just stack the highest level of one tower that you can and hope you're scaling fast enough to just win.

Nice, I was going to post this exact thing once I saw this video. The game has some series issues and I hope to god they get fixed because once you buy the card "upgrades" after winning they just bloat what you can get so it eventually gets impossible to win. It is all rng

You need to combine a lot to get higher ranking towers, so banishing isn't that good, better to combine them and have cards to draw more.

there's a balls turret you can unlock further into the game that said, it was painful to watch, thanks for sharing anyway

The most insane foreshadowing ever for the whole video😂 Oof that was painful lmao Still love ya Dex, but I think you should at least play a game a few times before recording, or read up a tiny bit ahead of time. You upgrade tier 3 and tier 4's all the time, it's not a waste to get a high tier card, even if you're not going to use it because it alike an investment, now you can upgrade the purples after the first other purple you got because you were lucky enough to add a purple to your deck during the add a card phase. You almost always want to chose the highest tier cards possible when adding cards for this reason. Omg you banished a purple... Please Dex... What is an active? Proceeds to mouse over the "active" cars right beside that one. Huh, I don't know what an active is..... Talk about blind Dex hahahaha Omg so many banished and skipped cards 💀 💀 💀 So many lost potential upgrades and better cards Also why are you dragging cards everywhere? you cna just play the card by dragging it out of your hand into anywhere above, the arrows show you it's going to apply to the towers or garrisons. Also you can just click cards into the combine slots, which you did several times and then for some reason just went back to slowly dragging them for some reason?! lmao Also please stop banishing things, it's not doing what you think it is 😂. If definitely suggest reading up about the game or perhaps watching someone else's playthrough to get a more in-depth and clear understanding of what's actually going on in the game. Also when to, and when not to, click certain buttons, or avoid others, namely the "skip" button 😅 Thank you for the video though, entertaining as always ☺️ ❤❤❤

I was thinking the same thing... I usually enjoy Dex' videos, but it seemed pretty clear he may have never touched a deck builder before & absolutely refused to read anything.. first time I've felt genuinely frustrated watching one of his videos. 🤦‍♂️

I love dex, but this video just made me sad and stressed! 😢 I had to stop watching halfway through. He should just remove the video, or the KZread algorithm will punish him! When people watch only part of a video, youtube looks at it as a lack of viewer retention. Watch time is arguably a more important metric for content creators than subscribers count!

I think what you are missing is that this game didn't have balls. If there were balls you would understand it better.

Use this build whip,garlic,Ebony wings,peashone,( all evolved ), cross,king bible, bracer, clover,heart thing, hollow heart, candle, crown and use Antonio And any thing else if you have space

so, a few thing i´ve noticed: - you argued that attack-speed would be more beneficial on the MG's, but in scenarios where percentages are involved, it doesn´t make ANY difference. Increasing either base-damage OR attack-speed by the same percentage, results in the same DPS. If it were flat damage increases, raw damage would benefit high-firerate towers WAY more than low-firerate towers and vice versa (firerate would benefit high base-damage-towers way more), but since we're dealing with percentages here, it doesn't matter. -at 5:32 you selected the 2 cards, but then skipped, which discarded the cards instead of putting them in your deck - 19:33 actives are well, active spells. You literally hovered dark mark, which says active lol :) - 22:56 you skipped again -banishing rocks (at least with this character) does absolutely nothing, since they are automatically added back into the dack if you go below a certain number of cards in your deck. Since you reached that threshold, the rocks you just banished later on simply got added back to your deck. - 26:02 you skipped the cards again

Bit wrong there, concerning your first point. Attack speed is in general better, percent for percent, because damage has a cap on it, in terms of the enemy hp. When facing a lot of low-HP enemies, increasing your damage past its max HP will bring no benefit, but increasing attack speed will. Of course, it doesn't really make a huge difference for the MG. Just thinking purely mathematically. Assuming there's no damage mitigation to speak of, that is.

The moment when a non german yter (sifd) is more german (optimizing) than an actual german yter. I really love your VS videos because you actually have knowledge of the matter and crank the hell out of a chosen mechanic. So please, for the love of god, read into stuff... i will still watch and like, but I simply prefer you in a prepared form. Maybe I'm not the only one, maybe you could just simply do a poll to see if people want to see you getting into stuff or breaking stuff, I don't know, I'm just gibbering, but maybe it's useful.
