About
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kiss, an American rock band formed in 1973 in New York City, is celebrated for its members' distinctive face paint and elaborate stage outfits, encapsulating a unique blend of hard rock, shock rock, and heavy metal. The original lineup, featuring Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss, became iconic for their individual stage personas and makeup styles. They are not just known for their music but also for their electrifying live performances, which often include smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits, and extensive pyrotechnics. This theatricality has significantly influenced the glam metal and heavy metal genres, earning them a dedicated fan base known as the "Kiss Army."
Among their extensive repertoire, "Strutter," a track from their 1974 self-titled debut album, stands out. The song, emblematic of the band's hard rock style, features a straightforward rock rhythm and catchy guitar riffs. Lyrically, "Strutter" describes a confident, fashion-forward woman, exuding a sense of empowerment and allure. Although it wasn't a major chart-topper upon its release, "Strutter" has garnered a cult following over the years, becoming a beloved classic in Kiss's catalog. Its influence extends beyond music, with appearances in various films, TV shows, and video games, further solidifying its legacy in the annals of rock history. "Strutter," with its enduring popularity, encapsulates the essence of 70s rock, showcasing Kiss's impact on the music world.

The band did two farewell tours. One with the original band and one that just concluded with the current band (Gene, Paul, Eric, and Tommy). None of the tours in between were billed as farewell tours.

Elvis Presley's nephew relates a story about how he was listening to a KISS record in the basement of Graceland. Elvis asked his nephew to play the song again and he remarked about how impressed with Ace Frehley's guitar playing and that the guitar drove what the band was doing. Long story short...Elvis became a fan of Ace Frehley that day.

Love Gun would be a great reaction as well as many others in the classic era. "Fun" is a great term to describe KISS's music.

like your reactions but dude this is a kick ass classic by the original influential Kiss with Ace Frehley and Peter Criss and you flashed Cheater Criss and Fake Frehley. they got nothing to do with the classic material other than they play it.
