Pop’s and Stix had a real special intuitive connection when they played together. A serious lesson in how to play in a rhythm section that grooves to. Be had just by paying attention those two. 💥

The first time I saw him was on TV with Olivia Newton John "Physical" live, he played a solo that blew me away! Luckily, I had my cassette player close by, I recorded it, and couldn't wait to learn it!❤

The bass player The Crusaders looked for for 15 years. Is this the album version, though? Sounds live.

Sounds like the late great Billy Rogers on guitar?

Larry Carlton was the regular guitarist; pretty sure this is him. Edit: nope, you're right! This is a live recording, and either Wilton or Wayne introduces him right at the end. So _not_ the album version.

@@jorymil Ha I didn’t listen to the end so am glad my guess was right😊 Billy took over for the Images album but sadly he was a man with demons and drugs eventually took him young. To my mind he could have been one of the greats, he had astonishing chops, check out The Guitar Artistry of Billy Rogers CD if you can find it. Other touring guitarists took over, most notably the criminally underrated Barry Finnerty.
