The light beam is from Justice cast, and the hero that focuses on casts is Merris. (She can still get practically infinite pick up range) Also, Earth goddess strike is already confirmed getting nerfed. It is way too strong.

Sadly its only so-so power wise, a problem with a lot of the casts honestly. You've got really solid ones like Mrots Serpents or Times Time Field, and then you've got Light Rays and Meteors which kinda suck.

@@darthkarl99 I would not say light rays suck. Last run I had with them, they did 16 million damage and has a benefit of being on a god with god legendary, so you can take epic spells and get them to master. The spell area on justice is also really nice along with cdr fromLei gong and spell duration from time.

@@arthena2130 To be clear i'm not saying they can't be good, but there are plenty of cast and non-cast blessing that or solid to good at mid rarities and mid number of levels. Light Rays like Meteors or Frost Zones need very high rarities and a lot of levels to be merely good. Stuff liem Black Serpent,s Time Field, Blades, Chain of War, e.t.c. can be workable with much lower levels and/or rarity and be absolutely insane if you luck into max rarity and extreme levels. TBH the actual damage of each ray is fine, but without a bunch of area and cooldown buffs and levels they just can't hit enough things. Merris with certain talents and enough luck can of cause turn them insane.

Hey Dex I've been playing this game a lot since the update and I found a unique common item that gives me "3% more master offers for every common item equipped" and I have a really good ring that gives me "21% more legend offers". Plus some extra %master offers on the gear itself. So I have in total 28% more master offers and around 30% more legend offers so occasionally when it all comes together I get between 3-4 legend offers during a run! It's amazing and probably my new favorite way to play the game :D

So, we should talk about Ninh.

@11:30 If you haven't messed with the other characters yet, each character has different slot counts for their Strikes, Casts, Powers, and Summons. Their talent trees also have effects from the Signs too, just laid out different, and generally without the drawbacks they had. Lorien is also stupid OP. Like baseline he just does the same dps everyone does with an average Mythic weapon... while unarmed... and at long range. Equipment also isn't bound anymore, check through your Uniques to see if there's anything cool.

Arrows ABSOLUTELY can take advantage of attack area. Raise that percentage up and your attack hits in a very wide area.

I love how much more balanced all the gods feel, and pull range is so much better now.

It was allways insane, its just easier to see as there's a lot more good long range damage dealers in the game. Honestly of the very small number of remaining balance issues i've found pull rnage being incredibly overpowered remains one of the worst.

Rock shield and lightning orbs are really bad on lorien because it targets them on the bow and misses hitting them quite often if you're moving for some reason, making you not hit enemies, always skip those 2

Lorien with a max constellarium and a tier 2 weapon feels just like the old Merris with Gem High build. I have a feeling Lorien is going to be the meta gear-farming hero.

I'm sure Dex has allready discovered this, but those bomb chucking magic carpet riders are utterly nuts when you don't have an overpowered Earth Strike insta nuking them. Honestly my one complaint with act 2 would be some enemies, (the bomb chuckers and some mummy like things that explode the ground under you really), track far too well, being able to track you even mid dash unless you time it exactly right. One at a time they can be managed if you can track the projectiles/splats in the visual chaos, but in multiples you can end up dashing out of one only to dash into another, nearly unavoidable big damage chunks does not feel fair. There's still some skills that are out of whack s well, but overall the update is incredibly solid and fun. My biggest complaint after act 2 enemies is i want more levels to make builds with. i feel like i'm just getting a build going when the final boss spawns much of the time.

I find the new character is just so much stronger than all the others. His base attack is just too good.

Earth Spike in insanity, i've seen it hit 80k Unfortunately will be nerfed in the next patch, i know for sure

But Dex she is saying really sussy things... and with that mountain like body, thick sturdy bottom and mighty peaks, it is really hard to say nothing.

Lots of the new abilities felt powerful at the beginning, but at difficulty 36.. I don't know wtf to do

i found a trinket colourless rainbow... the game is only black and white if you equip it and it slows enemys by 50%.

The reason the shop didn't refresh is because the update changed how it worked. Now it refreshes based on time in a run, with a full run being guaranteed at least 2 mythic items in the shop. That's what the patch notes said at least. I wasn't paying too much attention to how many items I got in the shop so can't confirm the exact functionality of it.

The problem was the shop was locked for many people, it didn't refresh at all. A patch 2 days ago fixed it but the recordings happened prior to that

tryed the new caracter with no gear clered stage 2 without problems... then went back on a full geared mage girl character and got my ass beaten 3 times. the staves from mage seem to underperfrom dmg wise i found bows with 700 dps while my staves do about 200. maybe thats the problem^^.

wait, when did this get an act 2? I was JUST playing it two days ago.

Run a verify on your install, i had to do that to get steam to remember there was an update to be downloaded. happens somtimes with games.

Im at difficulty 50 and summons are no help!

Dex you are sleeping on force, I get it every run. The max damage I have seen it do so far is 9mil, in this run your rock spike that was hitting for 30k only did 1.8mil

Force would probably do a bit less on Lorien specifically because Lorien's range is so massive he murders those enemies before Force would. But yeah, Force pretty dang stronk.

A lot of T2 items are actually worse than old T1 items. He decided to nerf a lot of the stats. XP per second for example appears to never go above 1 on new items. Means all the items I have mythic T1 with 3 or more will never be replaced lol. He kinda screwed up itemization honestly. New items feel bad in general.
