    I respect Bonjasky and his success as a fighter but I never liked watching him fight. He has the kicks of a true champion and the punching technique of someone who has never trained but watched some good movies. Yes he would beat the shit out of me before a fanboy slates me.... but I'm not a k1 champ. It's like his upper body and lower body are from 2 different people.

    Predestined pace, they decided they both would avoid the others strengths..They both stuck to what works, no chances taken and nobody really tried to dominate or win. Technically it was good but lacked desire for me. I think that you can’t say you have a winner just because of the flurry at the end. How about if you scanned each body medically to see which sustained the most damage? That’s a fair way to separate close fights but of course we don’t yet have “Bones” scanner. But Some day! I would have concurred with 29/29 draw. Not enough from either figure to call a clear winner.

    I don't know about this fight... but his first Hari win and Manhoef WGP fight are possibly the biggest robberies I have seen in kickboxing's history. Also huge robbereis against Paul slowinski, Lebanner, Francois Botha and that "Tarky" guy. Even the Overeem decision was fucked up.

  • @michaeljones-kq5zi

    @michaeljones-kq5zi

    Жыл бұрын

    @@kevthegoat8774 Although still robberies, those are not even the worst decisions that bonjasky has gotten. Hari first fight and Manhoef WGP fight are worst than those(other maybe than botha). Also do not forget the robberies against Le banner and Paul slowinski. And by the way, the botha fight ( by the k-1 rules) should have been a 29-27 decision for botha. The rules say that if you get flash Knocked down and you were winning when your opponent dropped you and then you come back and continue to win the round after you got dropped, then that's considered a 9-9). This is how I rank his biggest robberies: 1.Melvin Manhoef ( this alongside with fedor win against maldonado are the worst robberies in history of combat sports that I HAVE seen in my 20 years of watching boxing, kickboxing and MMA) 2.Botha ( as explained above, by the rules 29-27 fight for botha) In no shape way or form did remy won that fight. 3.Badr Hari clear cut 2-1 at rounds: In the first round hari totally dominated bonjasky and won both the low kicks and the boxing. The second round was closer but the boxing was still dominated by badr and the low kicks were actually equal. Round 3 Hari is tired and bonjasky wins the low kicks battle in this round while hari still wins the boxing battle. I give a 10-9 to bonjasky here as he did better with low kicks in this round than hari did with boxing, also badr seemd a bit affected by the low kicks. So if you judge by round ( as it was) then hari won a clear cut 29-28 decision) If you judge by overall, then the difference is even bigger for badr. So no matter what kind of logic you use, Hari won with any form of argument that fight. Hari second round win is probably a more clear win than the Bonjasky third round win. Both rounds were clear wins. Round 1 was more than just a clear win, but hari was quite dominant in that round. 4.Sykvester Terkay 5.Paul slowinski 6.Jerome Le banner( he basically run and run and run and run and throw a blocked middle kick here and there) They were so upset that they changed the result after the fight. 7.Alistair Overeem: this fight is a bit more tricky to score. But for sure at the very best a draw/extra round for bonjasky. But to be honest with you this fight could very well be scored anything from 28-28 to 29-26 for Overeem. I think overeem won though, FOR SURE did not loss. I think Overeem dropped remy once ( the referee did not count remy though) won at least two rounds and the last round ( by k-1 own rules) should have been 9-9( see the explination about the rules above) Some other controversial decisions but that are not robberies are the Hoost fight, first Anderson Barddock Fight, the Errol Zimmaran fight and the Alexy Ignashov fight.
