4 runners are a one of the few vehicles that can be muddy and look sexy!

I am almost convinced that this Rig was built by TAV in NM. same color scheme, same accessories, same tires, only thing missing is the King long travel setup. Great build and I appreciate the movie detailing this build. Now all I have to do is convince my wife to let me build her 4Runner like this after I finish my Tundra.

These types of rig videos are my favourite. So much inspiration for my own amateur build. Cheers LLOD!

We JUST bought a 2020 4Runner TRD Pro yesterday, army green.. Looking at it, i love this color but I hate it in gloss so having it painted a matte army green.. My husband bought it so i'd stop daily driving his 80 Series that underwent a stage 3 restoration muaha.. I hate overly complex technology in vehicles so the 4Runner is great!.. This is the best vehicle on the planet!!

Where in CA does he live that he doesn't deal with fog? In Santa Barbara it rolls in every night, and is gone by 8am. LA is the same too lol.

What model 4Runner is this? Looks like an SR5 premium not sure though.

Thanks for doing this. I got a 2018 4Runner TRD Off Road, Premium. Prefer the TRD Pro, but I couldn't justify the extra 8-10k extra. Still, wanting to get out in the back 40 and stay there for a while.

​@@armwrestlinginthe6ix The pro is better, has better suspension, the front bumper is factory cut, better sound system, leather seats, 1 inch taller than standard 4runner. However you can upgrade a Trd off-road to this for 10k, Go with the off-road it's cheaper, but a pro is pretty sweet.

I've been researching light bars. I do like the Onx6. Would go with just a spot up top. I'm worried about the glare on the hood. Do you notice a ton of it with the spot on? I'm sure with the ambers you do but curious about the spot. Not sure if you can tell with both on. Keep up the good work fellas, much respect.

All forward mounted roof lightbars will give glare off the hood. Things you can do to help mitigate it, but there will always be some reflection.

Can someone PLEASE get me an ID on that blanket in the camper top??? It looks so comfortable. Cant find it anywhere.

What is the additional weight for a setup like this and does the added weight bog down the rig? I own a 4Runner that I would love to turn into an overlanding rig one day but am worried about the power loss. The horsepower is adequate for the stock vehicle but seems like it would be severely underpowered with all of the added gear.

All of the above. The 4Runner definitely needs some help and re-gearing is definitely a way to help. Hopefully I'll get my hands on some gears soon!

Hes talking about the little knobs, they let u adjust the way the shock compresses when your traveling over different terrain on the fly. No tools needed just like a big clicking knob. The 2/3 hes talking about is the rebound making the ride softer. And he probably set it higher for the trails.

Is a 2003 4Runner V8 4WD a good candidate for a overland vehicle, it has 240 miles on it, what should you look for mechanically.

Nice rig... Be cool with that impact gun when running down lug nuts.. they need to be torqued so u don't over tighten and snap one while on the trail
