The recovery stances agent was given in the mod. It’s a barely known feature Kiryu has in Yakuza 3/4 (Not sure if any of the other characters in 4 had them, I don’t think so.) Crane was also given them in Lost Judgement. Personally I’ve never found them useful, but it’s cool to see them again regardless.

Essence Of Hundred Fist Rush is everything I ever wanted in this game I never thought I’d see the day

This mod fixes almost every single problem I had with Gaiden’s combat and includes some additional goodies. Hats off for the incredible effort.

One thing I really love about this mod is the minimization of "accidental heat actions" health requirements suck big time but I also don't want to do Essence of Ensnarement or Ultimate Essence 5 times a fight when all I wanted to do is a running attack/ Tiger Drop.

I feel that but you can always hold L2 or LT or whatever the PC equivalent is to turn off heat actions as long as you hold the button. Just in case you didn’t know

@@vortaheadthebeast8072 That's true but to me specifically it's really uncomfortable to press the triggers with my middle finger (I grew up almost exclusively on racing games) and most of the time i'd rather have my index finger ready on block. But yeah mostly a me issue.

That Yakuza 6 throw, I think that is used for Ishin's gun style, which is funny considering that Kiryu's Heavy and Throw Grab Attacks for his Oryu style should have been from Ishin.

Wow! Though I did expected this from you after this game came out, I'm so glad that I watched the Gameplay first before checking this out. Cause what I saw of what you made in this Legend Remix Gaiden Mod Showcase, I was excited to see what you've added to both Agent & Yakuza Style. And I can tell some are the unused abilities what was in the Final Game itself. Plus elements of both Yakuza 7/Like A Dragon 7 & the two Judgement Games within this mod such as the Lotus Flare Fist (which was first introduced in Judgement with Yagami) (At 5:28) & the Essence of the Dragon God (Kiryu's Poundmate ability from Y7/LAD7) (At 6:07). You even made his Yakuza Rush Combo much a bit faster then it was before & even improved Kiryu's Essence of Hundred Fists Rush too. Really cool & awesome for you to addon into this. I also like how you fixed up several of the Legendary Coliseum Fighters' (most noticeably the characters shown in it) that should have been given to them like their original selves would have. Something tells me there's more to be done with this Legend Remix Gaiden Mod, like you recent one you've made & uploaded on here called Ver. 1.01 which I'm going to check out of course. Ohh, I can't wait to see you do a Legend Remix 8 for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth down the road. I'll most likely see that one AFTER playing the game myself of course. Don't want to spoil the Moves from that game without playing it to see for myself first. Love the mod so far especially the 100 Fists Heat Action Though, is there any chance you'll modify the EH Unflinching Ability something similar to Lotus Impenetrable Body from Kiwami 2 (from Prevent Knockdown to No Stagger)? It may be just me, but I never really noticed it in the gameplay because since i need to be red hp just to get the effect, which is sort of inconsistent.

Very nice job on this rework TripleAAA. There are still some issues with the game but many have been ironed out with this. Would be better if the "full heat bar" requirements where mostly just "Ex mode required" stuff. P.S Changing Dragon King Essence from low health kinda removes it's last stand O.P move charm imo and stun status already has a hact for it (the K2 flying knee finisher)

after playing through LJ, Vanilla Gaiden, Ouryu's fight mod and then Legend Remix, I can say, this mod really does elevate the game to LJ standarts. in fact, i may even like it better than LJ (maybe cuz my Kiryu bias) the two styles feel so polished and blend so well between the two. when i first played gaiden i only used Yakuza cuz it was the better one, but after this came out i REALLY enjoy agent a tad more, feels like a much better Rush imo. anyways, just wanted to say thank you kind man.

seems to be missing Komaki Parry.. did you forget to put it in the video or did you simply not add it? THANKS FOR THE MOD BTW

I was also wondering that I’m not sure if it still has the Yakuza 6/k2 parry for yakuza style because in legend remix’s for those games you need that parry to follow up into the komaki parry

This mod is the best legend one for the DE. I play the kiwami 2 one because I still can't play Gaiden but first thing I will do when I get it is donwloading this. Also, ultimate essence is my favorite heat action and I'm glad you removed the heat mode requirement. Also, will you be adding the health recover like in K2? Might sound too much to ask but that was a good way to not be bothered to stop by a drug store and chug the whole stock of staminan

Very late reply but they were removed in vanilla gaiden anyways presumably because of either the new triple finishers for Yakuza style or just because the mashing heat actions were simply not added for some reason it would’ve been awesome to see them back but adding them back via modding might be troublesome although I don’t know the specifics of that

Outside of the problems with enemy AI and boss behavior, this basically fixes every problem I have with the moment to moment combat. You've already convinced me to purchase Yakuza 7 for the second time just for your mod (which has improved that game immensely for me), this might be the tipping point for getting this one too. There's still plenty of odd omissions from previous games (reversing hold on a grabbed enemy, attacks while hurdling over low barriers, the square-square-reverse triangle attack not working as a juggle setup, just to name a few), but on the whole, this still makes a game I actively hate playing look actually fun. And hey, if you ever update it in the future, and those things are actually possible to add, they would certainly be appreciated. One question, did you make Agent's reverse attacks work, both for combos and while doing a grab? I saw that Ouryu's Fight made the combo reverse-triangle attack usable, but I don't think I've seen anyone address the reverse-triangle attacks while grabbing an enemy just not working.

This mod is truly amazing. So sad that I can’t do this on ps5.

For opinion I think Lotus flare fist should be in Agent style because Agent style is martial arts aroud mixed right? And Komaki parrt should be in Yakuza style instead and I would like to see Hell floor too must be in Agent or Yakuza style when enemy try to get up at low health or in Extreme heat mode.

Kinda wish some of the developers would add Ruji goda in the tournament some day or Mounth

You start with 2 heat bars now, but if you load an existing save, you won't have that extra one. To fix it, just buy an ability.

Ultimate Essence requires enemy in agony so either use charged front quickstep attack or Tiger Drop. Dragon God requires stunned enemy so use Agent light attacks (and the quickstep variants).

I love Like a Dragon Gaiden's combat but I have issues with it. This mod literally fixed all of them.

There's a few moves from Legend Remix K2 and 6 that I deliberately didn't port over to avoid bloating Yakuza style. I didn't want to make the two styles too homogenous, or make Yakuza the flat-out better style to use.
