My first connection to the game is when I was watching a friend play some part, they seemed stuck and I suggested they try playing a song to the guy blocking their way, and it worked. Beyond that, just enjoying people play the game or music is all I've wanted.

Very beautiful, I loved it! My favorite memory of OOT is not from playing it when I was little, even though that was magical. My favorite was playing through it again for the first time with my 3 little boys and reliving the magic through their eyes. It was really fun sharing that with them. And now we all love it together 😊

This is the game that really got me into gaming. Before, I'd play the occasional level of Sonic or Mario, or even this Mickey Mouse game that I've since forgotten the name of, but I wasn't really invested in them. I was perfectly happy just watching my older brother tackle each one whenever I wasn't off doing my own thing. Then one day, he was playing something new. The little boy in green was different. He wasn't an adult, and he wasn't a hero, at least not at the beginning. He was just a lonely kid that wanted to fit in. So I watched as he explored, getting a sword and shield in order to help someone he clearly cared about. I grew excited at the rooms full of puzzles and timers that felt so different to the games of before. My heart raced throughout the fight with the giant spider monster. I experienced my first shock at the death of a character because everything was done right and didn't that always mean that things were okay again? Why were they still dying?! Then more story was told than I'd ever seen in a game before- Goddesses and kingdoms and magic -and I was sucked in. For once, a game meant something to me. I finally wanted to be the one holding the controller, seeing the journey through to the end. So I did. I picked up that controller and struggled along with that lonely boy in green (keep in mind that this was before online guides were a thing), slowly seeing him become a hero and feeling like I'd accomplished the feat of a lifetime when I finally saw Ganon defeated. It's hard to choose a favorite part mostly because all of it is so special to me. Needless to say, it's mostly thanks to Ocarina of Time that I'm such a big Legend of Zelda fan, although the other ones were all fun as well. All that aside, thank you for the beautiful music. I always love hearing you play and having it be both a piece from Zelda and complemented with an orchestra is even better. I will definitely be checking out their channel after this.
