Legend of The Double Dragon v1.5 - Challenge Mode - Jimmy

I, once again, do the impossible and beat challenge mode! This time with Jimmy. It actually wasn't any easier compared to doing it with Jeff, just different in certain ways. It didn't take me 10 hours this time, but took many many attempts. You really have to have your shit together if you beat this mode.
You need to know all the moves,
know all your ultras,
know all the enemies behavior patterns
know how to wrangle the enemies,
know when to fight and when to run away,
know the game well enough to exploit its flaws
Farm points with the nunchuck or bo staff on enemies that have no defense.
And lastly always shoot for 3 extra lifes (150000 points)
Do these things and you might just win. I make it look easy but this vid only came after a lot of tortuous hours of tries and lots of learning the game the hard way.
The real challenge is the last wave. You have to fight all 5 Emperors of Gen-Setsu-Ken at once! You make one mistake they will shred you to pieces. You make one mistake and you can kiss your life goodbye. All this slow-paced, careful and conservative grind to keep lives and make points is all to prepare you for the last wave. If you don't have at least 6 lives going into it. You should go ahead and start over. Good luck!

    La recarga de energía /ki básica es redundante /obsoleta cuando cambiando de instancia se gana mucho más rápido y en mayor cantidad . Vi los videos del ultimate y parece no existir la recarga de lo básica . Aún así , el cambio de estilo de combate debería COSTAR ki en vez de regenerarlo . Eso añadiría una capa de profundidad en el manejo de la energía . (Siendo además una fuente de diferenciación de los personajes) En mi opinión el ki debería regenerarse de la forma clásica (como en súper doble dragón ) o en el caso de ultimate de forma automática (claro está mucho más lento) o ejecutando combos básicos (igual en menor cantidad que las actuales ) . Excelentes juegos ambos !

    Esto puede sonar extraño porque sé que mi nombre está en él, pero no hablo español, así que estoy usando un traductor en este momento. Por lo que estoy leyendo, crees que la carga necesaria para realizar combos de Killer Instinct es aburrida. Bueno, estoy de acuerdo contigo, pero aquí está la cuestión. Por favor, sepan que no soy el desarrollador y que Legend of the Double Dragon es solo una precuela de Ultimate Double Dragon. Ultimate está siendo creado por el mismo desarrollador. Los combos de KI son diferentes en Ultimate. Todo es un poco más rápido también. Mr. Q eliminó la "Carga lenta" en Ultimate porque quiere obligar a los jugadores a aprender todos los estilos diferentes. En cuanto a este video, es una especie de prueba de múltiples maneras. El Sr. Q lo está viendo, aprendiendo de cómo la gente vence este modo. Estoy haciendo lo que tengo que hacer, ya que es la única forma de sobrevivir a este modo. No estaba muy contento con el modo, ya que no me gustaba tener que correr de esquina a esquina haciendo el mismo combo difícil solo para ganar. Él lo sabe y dice que hará algo diferente en Ultimate Double Dragon Exceed. (La expansión de UDD) Puedes seguirlo en Twitter y Discord si miras la descripción en mis videos más recientes.     @@nklopez56 thx for the Reply! Cool i'll check that discord . But am sure he may listen to the games most skilled player ☺️. What i was triying to Say is that stance dancing (or stile swaping) should COST ki each time You swap , instead of generating it,. that would forcé the players to regain their energy by either standing still ( and vulnerable ) doing the classic recharge or earn said energy by doing básic combos . If not , Ppl Will run / stance dance / do Big combo rinse and repeat , no matter what Game mode , that would be the safest way to Beat the Game . Locking skills or mechanics behind some stiles would Also forcé Ppl to learn em all. IE: with the dragons : You can only block While in súper double dragón stance .... Dd2 stance gives You better damage / dd1 takes away your run skill but You now use half mana ... Etc etc .

    @@visbaluz Aahhh, I get what your saying now. Well, the KI combos come from the same energy meter as all the other special moves. As far as balancing the gameplay vs. Super powerful KI combos well... In LOTDD, they are kind of like an easter egg. Very difficult timings on each command. And this was the first time Mr.Q programmed something like this. A musical ultra. It took him a month to make those combos. Now in UDD, the following changes have been implemented into the game to keep people from abusing them. -The starting energy cost is only 5 but ends in 70 to 100 depending on EX linker usage and Ultra enders. -The KI opening attack can be BLOCKED by enemies that can block -You can be ATTACKED by enmies from behind (or in front) to stop you. You will only be invulnerable once you reach the last auto-double and ender. -The LOCKOUT feature will make its return in the final version, punishing you if you drop an input. -There are some enemies that can use a “combo breaker” move against you as well. So even with the ease of KI combos being easier to execute in UDD and how fast you can recharge, you will still have a hard time pulling of KI combos on enemies if your timeing, execution, and situational awareness are off by just a little bit. So I think its pretty balanced as of right now. Any other video you have seen from me or Mr.Q in the past were demo versions were he was still trying to figure out how to make sure the KI system was “fair” in the game. In LOTDD, it was a gift and a new experience.

    Muito obrigado! Oh, eu acho que sei o que você está dizendo. Billy tem cabelos castanhos neste jogo, como no Super Double Dragon original e no Double Dragon Advance. Jimmy é o louro neste! LOL! :)
