another great episode with a great guest, the legend of Polka already provided unique content among Hololive members and even among vtubers as a whole, bringing in guests opens the show up for a lot more ideas and episodes, keeping it fresh for much longer as a result Himawari was a great guest and I am excited for future collabs with her and Polka!

I'm so glad PolDen is back, I've missed it more than I thought I would. This was a really entertaining episode too! I don't have much experience with Vtubers outside of Hololive, so it was nice seeing someone from a different company. I'm looking forward to the rest of this season of PolDen, and to whatever else is planned with Himawari in the future!

You should check out Nijisanji if you haven't already since this comment. They're great, not quite on the same level of Hololive in my opinion, but still amazing and it'll add much more variety to your pool of v-tubers to watch, plus give you that sense of discovery again. Hima considers herself an Idol as well as many other Vtubers, but in Nijisanji the only true Idol there that acts and do projects like an Idol is Aiba Uiha. Both in character lore and her activities, she's even jokingly said to be Nijisanji's 3D Tech tester due to how much she releases 3D dance cover and songs.

Woah now having both niji 3d and holo 3d side by side is something completely amazing

Legend of polka yes! Also really glad to see HimaPolka becoming a thing, it opens up so many doors for the future of both Hololive and Nijisanji. It is not a competition, it's all about bringing the fans together for what they love. Thank you Polka and Himawari.

Hololive and Nijisanji actually collab quite a good amount, just that most people seem to miss those particular moments. I mean, it goes so far as Inui Toko actually showing up live in Suisei's Stellar Into The Galaxy concert (the two being quite best friends).

FYI, Rushia is a major Mito fan, Shiina and Okayu are sisters (same illustrator) and collab often, Matsuri often collabs with Nijisanji (Hoshikawa is her oshi and she’s a Key fangirl), Choco is friends with several Niji livers and even had an off collab at her house with Amamiya Kokoro and Ui-mama, Inui Toko and Suisei are best friends. Ah Maimoto, Subaru and Ui are a group and although they haven’t collabed in a while, they have a really wholesome bond. Edit: those are just some examples of the top of my head. These two companies have an awesome bond surprisingly

@@Lucaz99 Sara lost the spot in hololive first gen to Haachama (well Akai Haato) and are now friends and has been pestering Haachama for an off collab since she returned to Japan. There's also friendships and collabs outside these 2 companies as well. Flare and Patra of HoneyStrap (part of 774 Inc) are very close friends. Tamaki often does collabs with the girls as does Haneru from AniMare (also 774 Inc). If you expand beyond Hololive and include all of Hololive Productions, the boys in Holostars do a lot of collabs with a lot of different people. Edit: Sora and Azki have done a fair number of collabs of some kind as well. Often with independents. Tenjin Kotone (indy)has been doing a bunch of collabs with Choco and some of the girls recently. Towa is part of a group or 2 in Apex with some Nijisanji livers including Nun Bora from Nijisanji Korea. I think part of the reason all these get missed by fans (particularly overseas fans) is that they are often on somebody else's channel.

it's never a competition. at the old times Hololive even sharing a building with Nijisanji. it's the screwed mindset of some people who call themselves as fans who create the competition"story". those guys is the bad apples who want the world burn

This is really wholesome. The only Nijisanji vtuber I'm subbed to is Hana Macchia but Nijisanji seems like a pretty fun group as well.
