Legend Hobby Savage Bobber FLY'S !!

Ғылым және технология

The 1/4 scale Savage Bobber by Legend Hobby finally got its Maiden! She flew really good! If you guys know me.. you know my main RC Airplanes are stunt planes so this is a learning curve for sure. I am excited to change the prop out and continue to fly this beast and get better at flying it! WHAT AN AMAZING AIRCRAFT!

Just buy a cheap rtf model and learn to fly. It's not hard but it's a blast.

That is absolutely the coolest video in flight camera shots. You definitely are just great at flying thee R C airplanes. YOu need to put a back seat passenger in that plane!

Hard to believe your buddy crashed that beautiful bird. In this video you were higher and pulled out of it, your friend was not so lucky in the same situation. I’m sorry for your loss.

Wrap the open fuselage in clear. Just a thought. At least a few of the panels so you can at least side slip it with control.

The product description shows a flying weight of about 8kg and this for a model of one of the lightest airplane ever in reality. Thats very heavy! What they have done? Using steel instead of CFK?

Another great video Jay. I am almost certain I will be buying this ARF for my winter project and putting it on the line and flying it at NEAT 25. I think I saw in the video you placed the motor battery under the pilot seat is that correct? Also you mentioned in the video the plane was a little CG sensitive so where did you place the CG for your second maiden flight before you placed the video camera on it?

You will love it. I’m running 3 batteries. My 2s 3000mah receiver pack was forward under the cluster. And my 2 flight batteries. 6s and 4s 5900mah packs are under the front seat! CG isn’t to sensitive I was just worried because the electric motor was not as heavy as the recommended gas motor but the batteries got it just about perfect. I can always email you pics and videos too if it helps out

@@Jays_rcgarage Thank you very much for the reply Jay. It is very generous of you to offer to send me more information on your build with pictures but not needed. I was just wondering if flight batteries were going to fit where the fuel tank is designed to go. The Bobber looks like an easy flying fun plane and if I do purchase one it will make a nice addition to my hanger. Keep making awesome videos and see you at NEAT 25.

So you didn’t mention things like a gyroscope or GPS return, am I right in thinking that this is without those? It is a unit of an RC plane. I also assume that you need quite a bit of skill to step up to this size?

From my perspective, you're making a big circus out of this. A pilot with such experience with many models will easily cope with such a simple and uncomplicated model. Especially after jets, which are 10x more complex and harder to use. Okay, you do it for sponsors, posterity and YT viewers ;)...
