Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hope everbody enjoys some really good and hard road course racing. Ended up 3rd out of 27 in the pro class. Really cool to race with people from all around the world and see how drivng styles change from some of the best road course racers to your average oval racers such as my self. Hope you enjoy

Michael, at this particular track, being behind is much better in my opinion. With the shapes of these cars they brake a big gap in the air allowing huge drafts down the front stretch. But it can be a little difficult to pass but there positives and negatives to both positions.

how do you shift in these, is there a clutch or do you just have to let off the gas. and whats the max height a person can be to fit in one of these?

I am interested to hear the answer to this as well. Some videos I have seen are heal/toe down shifting. This is the first one I have seen where down shifting looks like there is no blip of the throttle and no clutch use. Is this because the FZ09 has a slipper clutch?

When I was running them mine had an FJ1200 and I rarely lifted when upshifting, just make sure your pull on the gearshift is quick and solid. That said a blip of the throttle is probably a bit nicer to the gearbox.

@@Spartanperformancegroup on these transmissions i blip the throttle on downshift no clutch needed and lift really quick shift and back to full throttle for upshift. No clutch needed except when we roll from a stop

Was the 77 doug stephens? How you like the z09?

The other 77 is Rafe Slate and I’m in the 77 as well. They are both Doug Stevens cars we rented. The z09s are okay. Unlike the old motor there’s not as much torque in the low end of the rpms which makes it a little less fun but they haul ass on bigger tracks like this one. So they are okay for the most part

I am also 15 and I also want to get into legends. If you have a local track near you for me it's Atlanta motor speedway Then look up a legend car dealer near you and see if there are any and from there you can buy one. Then you call the NASCAR track in your state or go on their website and see if anything pops up and search "legend car races near me" do you have 5-10 thousand dollars because a cheap used one could be about 5 thousand but then gas tires what if you wreck it then you gotta repair it or take it somewhere and get it repaired, entry fees, and all of that. Do you have any karting experience like rental karts but not the ones you find at a carnival I mean ones like here at Atlanta motorsports park they go 55 mph. But since your 15 I would invest in legends because your too old for karting if you wanna make it professionally

@@DrewHiRacingNASCARWinPOVs couldn't say it much better, and unfortunately it is a very expensive and it takes some backing whether its from sponsors, parents, or both. if you dont have the money for legend cars id suggest something like gocarts which can be a little more affordable.

@@Dawson1003 yea but I think legends are the way to go if you still wanna go professional. Karting at my age could just turn from serious into a hobby and I don't want racing to be a hobby

@@DrewHiRacingNASCARWinPOVs Id agree from a professional side of things but starting at 15 your already behind the 8 ball on experience. All of kids now days including my self starting racing when we were 5 to 6 years old and experience is a big part of being able to make it.

@@Dawson1003 I started at 6 but it was like rental karts which I found at six flags. I also took an andretti karting camp and then I found Atlanta motorsports park. So I have some experience. But instead of investing in a kart at 15 I decided to move on to cars. Because if I have any talent at all legends will probably be the place to tell me.
