You are always my first choice for solo game playthroughs and rules. You nailed it again for this game! Not only did you have the briefest, but most comprehensive playthrough, but your camera angles and teach was excellent. Thank you for consistently putting out great content!

Oh my gosh, this game has instantly charmed me! Love the mechanism that offers a little helping hand if you fail a game. The art is gorgeous, I like the size of the board too. Great teaching Shaggi! I’ve added this to my ‘Please consider for my birthday’ list 😂

Yeah, the table footprint is nice and compact and setup is quick. Very easy to store from game to game. The art is amazing for sure and the gameplay has an addictive quality and plays in about an hour once you know it. It does a lot of things right! Thanks so much, Emma!

At 41:00 (for instance) you refreshed the Barbarians in the Card Row from left to right. According to p14 of the Rulebook, Townsfolk get replaced left to right, but Barbarians are replaced right to left. This makes a difference when replacing three or more Barbarians, because the costs in provisions vary.

Brilliant play through, thank you so much for showcasing this game! It looks right up my street: it’s great to look at, it has heaps of strategy and options making it very replayable, and there’s so much to do! I really hope this becomes available in retail in the UK sometime soon as I’d love to pick it up.

Excited to get back to this one on the weekend and hope to make my way through at least one campaign. I love how easy it was to pick up and play after watching your playthrough. Maybe. I'm on a short spring break vacation with the fam and I need to play more games of the campaign before I review the game. My initial impressions are very good (which is why I did a playthrough video). The decisions are very satisfying in a quick play. I'm a bit suspicious of adding "story" and campaigns to a Euro game. I probably would have preferred individual scenarios with variable setup. But it is too early to tell for sure. I'm tired of campaigns in general, so I might be biased. Thanks for watching!

I'm not sure, because I haven't played through the entire campaign, but I have the same concerns as you. Not that much has changed between turns so far. I wouldn't want to binge this because I do think that would feel repetitive. But a few plays a week should work. Thanks for watching!

4:02 This was the exact moment when I fell in love with this game. That's such a genius rule. In all deckbuilding games you shuffle your cards at some point. So, what a great idea it is to make it a rule that something happens instantly when you shuffle your deck. So you don't want that to happen.

great tutorial, I just started playing yesterday.. i made a mistake with the flood :D forgot to move them each time when i reshuffle it XD

I edited out taking back my yellow and black meeples that were on the building spots. You get those back at the end of the round. Thanks for watching.

Not sure why you didn’t just do your play through with the spoiler free rule set? There is a way to play without the campaign.

Because I wanted to play the campaign and these videos are firstly about me having fun. This is a hobby for me. Also, spoilers in this game are fairly benign.

@@TotallyTabled you’re in between a rock and a hard place; dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t with what you decided in revealing the story. I personally think that you should continue with the story and run its course. It feel like a half play without any meat on the bone if it’s an ‘edited’ down version otherwise.
