When I had art class at my high school 22 years ago, my art teacher managed to bring someone in from Silicon Knights. Nobody knew who they were, not even the teacher. I LOVED Legacy of Kain at the time, this was before Soul Reaver. I gleefully raised my hand to ask her is she worked on Legacy of Kain and she said yes! This was the coolest moment of high school. Vae Victis!

Still going into 2022. This game is a TIMELESS classic akin to Milton's "Paradise Lost"

This​ game wouldn't be remade as you would hope! Cut content,cut story,characters personalities would be different,....

having played all the games, and im avoiding spoiling it here, its interesting how even as far back as the first 12minutes we're getting hints at what the Elder God want's and its end game.

The opening cutscenes still holds up incredibly well. Thanks for this upload :)

So much divine and so ordain of this game. I shall forever more know this creation of our era that form this epic edifice that was soooooooo much truth. May this Soul Reaver be remember in our PS era.

This game's storytelling and voice acting still hold up better than most games today. What a masterpiece. Also I never heard the line @ 11:03, props for including it!

I feel like nobody has pointed this out but your use of editing and camera angles is incredibly cinematic and impressive for your gameplay sections. I had my most recent playthrough abruptly ended up constant CTD entering Zephon’s lair so this movie you’ve made is the 2nd best thing to playing it. Thanks man it’s very much appreciated!

The things they could do with an updated version of this game would be amazing.

The entire LoK series needs to be remade. Its story, music, characters and whatnot just dunk hard on most existing fantasy titles...

Согласен. И, в отличии от жителей Носгота, у каждого зрителя здесь есть свобода выбора - смотреть с русскими, английскими или же без субтитров вообще, проникаясь игрой актеров оригинальной озвучки.

They gave their all making this game and swore not to go through something like it again 😅 its perfect a remake will take the beauty away

A remake would be good, finishing the story would be best, but I also think Blood Omen 3 would be interesting showing Kain resurrecting Raziel and his brothers, telling the story of how they dominated Nosgoth, being able to play as the vampire Raziel, telling the story of what happened in time Raziel was cast into the abyss to when he was reborn by the elder god. I think that would be a great game.

there is a fan game where you play as vampire Melchiah and it's your job to exterminate Raziel's clan. It has game play similar to blood omen

That's because if something goes wrong these days they can patch it with a download pretty quickly, so they don;t even seem to try anymore. Back then internet was slow and some people still didn't have it so they couldn't release a patch, they HAD to get the game right or release a whole nother disc out to all the retailers again and lose a heap of money

one little detail in case you missed: if you play Raziel to not kill the human enemies, when you access the human citadel you will be worshipped by them.

Those pillars that you saw in the intro video, it's all about them, Kain was chosen to be the guardian of the Pillar of Balance, but instead of making a sacrifice to become one in order to save Nosgoth from Hylden, Kain decided to rule the land by raising the vampire kingdom.

But like no joke, it is proper english, and it is slightly old English. The characters talk in a sophisticated old england way. The kind of thing you would gind on books or novel from the 1800s or early 1900s
