I think "it's too corporate" is a valid criticism of shallow company projects that are completely soul-less (like Meta and corporate art) but this doesn't apply to Brett whatsoever. If the Daily Wire hosts all had to read from the same generic script or something then maybe that criticism could apply, but each host is different and they sometimes disagree with each other and have different takes on stuff. Matt Walsh and Brett and Michael Knowles and Claven each bring different points up and different points of view to their topics, so it certainly doesn't apply here.

Well that means something. Hasan has a point. Brett's production presents that she reacts to something liberal in a authentic way. Streaming presents something spontaneous and instantaneous. However, it is the exact opposite of a production which is in itself is produced, written, and heavily edited. I think that is what Hasan is pointing that Brett constantly ignores and doesn't even comment. She even redirects the argument to be on her looks and more physical. In no means I idolize Hasan. I do not even watch him. But Brett has something fishy going on. More so, being part of a corporation which is Daily Wire means that her content isnt even hers. It is the idea or content of a company. It's like hypocrisy in another level. I know Hasan only pointed out superficial things, but if we analyze it, does this show even mean something?

If you have a great idea or do something fantastic, it is worth to invest in you. If not, you might sit in your living room which you call a profesional studio and record yourself for the rest of your days. Brett, you are amazing, I love your shows. ❤

No what Hasan is saying is that he’s authentic where is this check is completely scripted. Part of the appeal with his content is the fact that it’s off the car when you’re watching him live you’re engaging with the content at the same time he is. This allows for moments of authenticity where you can see his true raw emotion that can’t happen on a show like this because it’s all scripted you’re never going to see her bad sides all you get is what the daily wire decides is worth showing. The authenticity allows people to connect with them more they feel like a real person and not some talking head

It's funny how he makes fun of Brett for planning out her content, and yet none of his criticisms land because of his own lack of preparation. All of his arguments were based off assumption and made him look like a fool. You can make genuine content while still taking time to actually review and factualize your statements. I think if I'm going to be watching political content, I'd prefer the content actually be well thought out and fact checked rather than a bunch of poorly worded opinions based entirely on assumptions or misinformation.

Of course you wouldn't know this, but when a youtuber, streamer, etc literally pops up of nowhere with HUGE production value, 100% of the time it means they have financial backing. In This case, it's financial backing from Ben Shapiro's company, which in turn gets it's money from right wing PAC's that run on billionaire money. It's not a critique of having high quality, but rather a statement that calls to attention the facade of the show.

this is so spot on, i myself have watched some of his videos and once in a while tunes into his streams and 90% of his comments on opposing views are pretty much high-school insults towards whoever he is "critiquing". And when opinions or argumentative statements are posed in videos he watches, ive seen him pause videos while they are being said just to childishly insult their looks or mannerisms such as how they look, how they talk, what theyre wearing and even mimics them in a comical way to get his surface-level chat to diverge their attention from the actual argument being made.

it's reminded me of that stereotypical punk/grunge claim to authenticity where you see an act and claim it's fake ("it's not really lo-fi. They're deliberately playing badly. (and then pridefully) With us, we genuinely don't know how to play guitar."). The idea that no preparation, looking dishevelled, etc are things that you use in gatekeeping is cliché. I don't think anyone's perplexed by a set. And if Hassan is successful, he had options to create a studio. If he's cordoning off some corner of his living room, he's probably done so with an awareness of his act. If you have an act, then you have artifice. Unless you're functioning on pure instinct or are profoundly incapable, you make decisions about how you present yourself.
