If anyone else is having a problem squeezing all seven shell sts into that tiny space, just do what I did: Whenever the pattern says, “chain one” on a V-stitch actually chain two! It gives you that extra space for all those double-crochet’s, and doesn’t ruin the overall shape of the triangle. I made this shawl in variegated yarn so that I didn’t have to bother with changing yarns every few rows. For more subtle color variety you could crochet just the chain rows in an alternate color - they do show through in the final piece! 🌈 🧶

No this is the beautiful shells shawl by MyPicot. The Shaw you are referring to looks like it has an extra dc post between the shells for a more open stitch. Thank you for watching!
