You also have to submit your records for consideration. So if she hasn't been submitting them then they can't be in the running for a Grammy. The radio has been playing her record 'Complicated' so we shall see.

About three years ago I went through a devastating breakup that shook me to my core. I remember being told by a very wise person, “ he didn’t see you.” Then I didn’t fully understand the magnitude of that statement until now in November of 2021 upon hearing this song for the first time. In my place of healing I realize the words to this song were my truth in 2019. I did give my all. My soul was surrendered to him and my love was pure but yet and still, he did not see me. What I realize now is that what really matters is that I see me and that is what my creator always desired. I see me….

I stopped dead in my tracks, in the middle of the chaos of my thoughts, and calmed my mind listening to this. Such a beautiful song.
