Don’t care about the score I’m just happy to see Hull not sitting back at 2-1 down at least trying for the win I’d rather get beat 3-1 and risk it than not go for it at all

Leeds fan here. I was at this game & must say Hull were very unlucky not getting at least a point. Very positive throughout & i never really felt it was over, until our late 3rd. Good luck for the remainder. Loved watching that Omur play. He's total class!

They did play very well we were just incredibly unlucky

Philogene is looking increasingly selfish in play and others aren't passing to him (Morton assist/ goal). If he thinks his season is done after vague Tottenham interest, he'll have a bitter pill come the summer when no one is interested anymore.

The table says different, but Hull put in a decent effort, where as Ipswich were fortunate to only lose 4-0 at Elland Road.

Everything can change in this league and there are many more matches to resist until the end and score a goal without conceding a goal in defence, of course. Come on HULL CITY, WORK HARDER, GIVE YOURSELF FOR THE PREMIERE LEAGUE, FINISHING THE LEAGUE 6TH IS NOT A DREAM...

Not sure we deserved the scoreline and I fancied our chances with their injuries etc, however the result is the epitome of our short comings. I agree with LR we are not far off being very good rather than 'just' a competitive championship team that is progress in itself though. Leeds do have that quality and it got them through. It is frustrating to hear the same things with 6 games to go about needing to make better decisions, we are still learning etc etc....top 10 will do us this year.🐯🖤🧡

Leeds fan here, i always watch the highlights from the club we beat just to hear tgeir commentators moan how tgey were actually the beyter team and should have won. In all fairness tge Hull commentator was good on the whole, no moaning or crying. I must however take exception to 2 of his comments. 1. Why on earth eould tge ref have given Hull a feee kick gor the first goal, no hint of a foul and it certainly wasn't offside. 2. Summerville was apparently going nowhere when he was hacked down for tge penalty, really?? If ged have beaten tge Hull defender, which he clearly would have, he'd have had tge freedom if the 6 yard box, I'm guessing the commontator hasn't seen how dangerous Summerville can be in such a position. Fair play to Hull, they made a game of it, but had Bamford not done whst Bamfird dies and miss a sitter from 5 yards and then block a goal bound effort, Joseph hit the post and the Hull keeper not been in such outstanding form, Leeds would have had 5 or 6, but 3 was enough 👍

To be fair when you look at the replay from behind the goal, there could be a hint of Byram touching the player. Of course, he didn't but even Byram said in his post-match interview that he had thought the ref disallowed it. Yes, Summerville was definitely going somewhere and the ball was not running of play. He'd have had a chance to shoot or pull it back, but it was still a stupid tackle from the defender. Had Byram or Firpo done it at the other end, Leeds fans would have slated them. Fair play to Hull, they came to ER and made a game of it. One of the few teams to come to Elland Road and not park the bus.

Doesn't matter that it's not a cup final. Hull needed at least a point, and nearly every team is going to bring their keeper up for a set piece at that stage of the match in that situation. Meslier did it for Leeds a few years ago against Brentford and set up the equalizer; Allison did it for Liverpool and scored v WBA the year they won the PL.

Define lucky? I'm not a huge believer in the xG stat, but Leeds' xG was 6 times Hull's. Hull having two shots go narrowly wide and one over the bar, but did Meslier have a shot to save? At the other end, Bamford misses a sitter at 1-0, blocks a goal bound shot at 1-1, Joseph hits the post. Yes Hull had the most of the possession but overall most of it was in areas where they could not hurt Leeds.

@@peterhillick9223 After 1-1, there were 3 clear goal kicks missed and then the referee made the wrong penalty decision. Do we clearly see the opponent's blow in the penalty decision? No. Quite simply, the Leeds player turns and throws himself to the ground.
