Tsavorite is not just "green crystals." It is one of the rarest gemstones on earth. It is in the garnet family. A single, good quality tsavorite stone in the .5 carat range can cost into 5 figures! Most of those garnets are at least .25 carats, so that makes the ring relatively rare.
