Maybe try living in the moment. Take a few pics and put the phone away and just go with it and enjoy the night. It's said that people want a 70 inch tv at home but when they go to a sporting event or a live show they look at everything through a 7 inch screen. Seriously I was at a concert a few years back and the woman in front kept flashing her damn camera all night. Now the guy hadn't done a Cher and changed outfits every song, he was still standing at the microphone. Who the hell needed a hundred pictures pretty much all the same?

The ‘Young Guns’ one was the JBJ solo effort with Jeff Beck doing the lead guitar. ‘Blaze of Glory’ I think. And the guitar switch over in Dead or Alive, when they play it live, is covered by the keyboard player doing the guitar run down on keys, while Sambora switches to the electric. Quite clever and seamless live. Fab band at that time. Sambora will be recognised more and more as the years go by for his singable solos.

Jon Bon Jovi has no connection to Young Guns. IIRC, the director of Young Guns II wanted to use Dead or Alive, but JBJ persuaded him it wouldn't work lyrically and instead wrote a whole album for the film, including the single Blaze of Glory.

Going to a Bon Jovi gig in the 80s always felt like a party. Slippery when wet and New Jersey were fabulous albums, the gigs were epic and Sambora was the reason I first picked up a guitar. I was also lucky enough to take my son to see them at both Milton Keynes Bowl and Wembley Stadium and watch him get the guitar bug too. Watching this was a real trip down memory lane for me, so thanks guys.

For Wanted, Richie would finish that harmonizing line with Jon and quickly switch guitars just in time to turn around and dive head first into his solo. Phil X started off doing the same tactic but starting on the 2017 This House Is Not For Sale Tour he would put on his electric he would use and kind of hide it behind his back and put on his 12 string acoustic, only to remove it just before the solo. A bit more simplified and doable since Phil doesn't use a double neck.

Wow, this video really brings back some great memories. I graduated from high school in 1986, and I also turned 18 that summer. You couldn't go anywhere without hearing a song from "Slippery When Wet." The first time I saw (relatively unknown at the time) Bon Jovi live was Easter sunday 1984, in Fresno, CA, when they opened for Scorpions. It was one heck of a concert. Bon Jovi also opened for Ratt in the band's early years, and a year later, Bon Jovi was so big that Ratt was opening for them. Bon Jovi was everywhere in the 80's, and deservedly so. They were a great band in their prime.

Absolutely LOVE that Gretsch! Also, more videos like this, please. Oh, did You know Desmond Child helped compose many of the songs on this album?

An album you might not have experienced but is one of my absolute favorites is Fizzy Fuzzy Big and Buzzy by the Refreshments! Such a great album, top to bottom. Love the concept and absolutely love Slippery When Wet! Keep up the great work.

I loved this. I just can't let my kids see me having fun watching other Dads rock out to their distant memories - I do this all the time!

LOVE this content guys! Please do more! I was born in December 1986 and this was the first album that my dad bought "for me" (it was for him but he told my mum it was for me" and I grew up on this album (plus Appetite for Destruction and Metallica's Black Album)
