Ahhhh, A little slice of my childhood heaven. Goose Pond was my summer getaway and Brodie Mountain was my winter getaway, right along with The West Stockbridge Fall Festival & the Mt. Greylock Hiking tours.

Great Video. I lived in Lee in the 50's. My Dad had a luncheonette across from ST. Mary's. I lived on Orchard Street on top of the hill. I wish that was in the video also.I could see the Church Steeple from my back porch. You did include a shot of my my Dad's store. I was in Lee last June visiting some old friends. Kind of takes me back to a different era. Enjoyed the video.

This is where I grew up - hadn't been back since 1962 until 2009. Hasn't changed at all.

Still can't believe the buildings are the same. The only thing different is the bricks on the outside of the sidewalks. Railroad station is now a restaurant. Sullivan's Station (the old railroad station is now owned by someone else) - miss Marilyn Sullivan. Kelly's funeral home is still there. Town Hall now houses the police as well. My old grammar school - St. Mary's is now Chamberry B & B. The building was moved from Academy Street to Railroad Street - from what I heard it took 5 or more hours to move it. The fire station was next door to my godmother's house - her house is now gone as well as the Hart House across the street from the Nolan Block where I lived. Library is the same as when I went to school. Forgot, they showed a real quick picture of the Apartment building my family lived in - actually quite a few pictures - look for the picture that shows 1914. Some of my classmates houses are still standing - Janey Powers, Zita Kelly, Peggy Morandi, Deedee Consolati, Charlie Bernasconi, Fran Arment, Danny Hunter and on and on. A real old town with old town charm. I was away from 1964 until 2009 - 50th class reunion. Joe's diner - yummy strawberry shakes - had one last Tuesday March 11.
