I like that David's 'sports correspondent' news begins with "Today in the football, once again they were kicking it around" because that's exactly how much I know about football

It's funny how "In the News Today..." sets David Mitchell off so much when he can be accused of the very same thing on QI. Look up the Rodney Bewes QI clip, David himself does a newsreader impression and starts off by saying "And Today...." 🤨
I love how they failed to show his evil eye about 8 out of 10 times.

What are you on about? They showed it 12 times (including the very small one before turning his back on Brydon), and I didn't see any indication that he did it off camera even once.

I keep seeing snippets like this and still see the same old episodes over and over, and wonder why I cannot get anything new. It's blarmy.... they obviously exist, why are we not given them..

Well, in that the Mac is a type of British raincoat and if it was adopted into French they may Frenchify it somewhat as Le Mac. But that's doubtful.
