He can legit have a phobia of balloons because of a past trauma from childhood, maybe a balloon once popped in his face and hurt him. It's the only explanation as to why he could be so scared of them.

Yes, this can be the case. Maybe a traumatic childhood experience with balloons. It could also be that he accidently popped a balloon as a kid.

My sibling and I are both autistic and we have sensitivity to sound. Balloons popping genuinely cause me physical pain. I'm not saying Lee Know is autistic but lots of non-autistic people also have sensitivity to certain types of sounds so it could also just be that. I don't know how on earth anyone could willingly choose to stay in a room with a popping balloon, clearly Lee Know feels the same as me lol. I feel bad for him watching this video.

It's NOT the 'only' explanation, that's extremely ignorant, there are millions of possibilities and it's dramatic jumping straight to PTSD - it quite undermines those who have PTSD. I've trained Trauma informed care and am also autistic like the person above. I have CPTSD too, and I am VERY sensitive to sound so wear LOOPS and noise cancelling headphones 24/7 due to autistic burnout. HOWEVER, I could still do all this that Lee Know is doing, happily cos it's a brief moment but add on my sensitive reactions for comedic effect which is what I assume is happening. If he had a genuine phobia, he wouldn't even be able to be in the room with them - he's not acting like he has a phobia, he's acting like he's not a more sensitive nervous system - that's VERY different. Considering how the company looked after Han with his anxiety, I'm actually positive they wouldn't do something stupid and make Lee Know do something he has a phobia of. And again if it was a phobia they COULDN'T make him do it. Phobia is something very very different to having fear or sensitivity and people are getting confused with that

@TWITZY I used to have the same fear myself when I was younger. I was able to overcome it, but it was definitely a rough road up to that point. There's more people who have this fear than you might realize, so don't feel ashamed or alone in it. Everyone's different, and everyone reacts differently to different things. I hope hearing that helps at least a little. You have my full support and understanding, no questions asked.

this is absolutely not cute or funny, is not a thing that we should see as funny or even calling him "scaredy cat", it doesn't matter if your intention is good or anything. He has a phobia, phobias aren't to make fun of them because he was really suffering there and you just watch him and laugh or think that he's cute. We should be more sensitive persons and not just see things from the outside, he was just so scared there that even makes me cry.. what on earth is cute about that.

It's not a phobia, it's a sound sensitivity (which I have - I'm autistic). And him and the boys are laughing at him (which I do for myself), he's even exaggerating for a comedic effect. They wouldn't put him through that if it was a phobia cos that's another level. If he was phobic he would literally refuse and couldn't be in the room with them
