I still remember when he was on Strong Heart and the least sought out member of 2PM. He had asked Kang Hodong how to get popular. Hodong said everyone will get their time. I'm glad Junho did. He used to sit in the dorm man days while the other members had schedules. When I see this now, so proud and an amazing actor.

Lee Jung Jae (Squid Game) is too much more than deserving. But squid game actors have won many international awards, so Baeksang gave it to other artists. On the stage,he needed to be more "humble" to thank all the seniors and legendary actors in Korea who were at the award. He’s just an ordinary actor whose name never appears in the "Forbes power celebrity in Korea". so pls be humble, he only came from kpop idols.

Who else went back here after watching him in KING THE LAND?!! So freaking gorgeous 😘

You can see when the name was called, he almost started clapping, not thinking he could win. He truly didn't think he will get it, but was hopeful. I'm so happy for him!! And such a nice speech too!

Boy, I just finished watching The Red Sleeve and he was amazing. Very well deserved!!!!

A very WELL DESERVED award. He was awesome in this drama. He’s turning out a very consistent, dependable and great actor. Looking forward to watching more of his drama. His recent drama King the Land was also a well made feel good drama. ❤

When Junho says he wants to "improve"...he means it. Every project he has been on he has learned and gotten better and look where he is today. Can you imagine him getting even better after The Red Sleeve? I can't wait to see it cuz his acting is a beauty to watch. AFter he won this on Friday I went back to view the drama for a 2nd time and I see things I didn't before and I'm in continual awe of his skills. I'm a forever fan of Junho the actor. But let's not forget his other career cuz I stan him as a 2pm member and solo artist as well. Junho is a singer, dancer, actor and composer. What's not to love about his artistry? Just watch his solo performances...you'll fall in love with him there as well. But today is about his acting....he deserves all the good things that are coming to him because he has the skills, the drive and the dreams to be even better. Thank you Junho...for entertaining us and brightening our days when we watch whatever project you choose.

I totally agree with everything you said, Junho is very admirable he really improves more and more his skills are fascinating and his acting is impeccable and splendid besides Junho is very beautiful and dazzling, the acting is a beauty to watch and I can't wait to see him on his next project to see how much better he will be after The Red Sleeve I can't imagine how much better he will be is beyond my imagination... I've watched The Red Sleeve 4 times and I could always pay attention to things about the performance from Junho that I haven't paid attention to before and he has always amazed me no matter how many times I watch he always amazes me it's amazing, love Junho actor, singer, dancer, songwriter and 2PM member, there is nothing not to love about his art i love absolutely everything about him!!! Junho will always be my favorite actor. Hope he doesn't feel pressured to receive these awards i'm worried i want him to be relaxed and comfortable I wish him the best and may he be filled only by happy things many more awards will come for him and many opportunities as you said "he has the skills he has the motivation and he has the dream to be even better" he has everything to grow even more

@@RaquelSilva-nz6pb One of the things I actually find attractive about him is that he does have ambition. When he said he really wanted to win the Baeksang...he meant it. What an incredibly honest thing to say. I was impressed. He needed that assurance from the Baeksang voting committe that he is one of the best actors they have seen. It was almost like an affirmation that the work he has done so far is as good as he thought it was. It is this kind of ambition that people did not understand when he was younger. It's good that he's mentally tough because a weaker person would have folded under the pressure. There's this mindset that you have to pull people down to a lower or equal level which I don't agree with. I understand fairness and showing that you are humble and not arrogant..but we should allow people to thrive and spread their wings and I think Junho was criticized when he was younger for having that ambition. Thankfully that's all in the past but it is probably what also made him mentally tougher. A lot of people that have ambition don't show humility and are instead very arrogant. Junho, IMO, has never shown that. His ambition is born from his dreams of being the best at whatever he does. Does he want to be recognized? Yes. But I've never seen him be arrogant in all the videos I've watched and interviews that I've watched that show arrogance. And so his dreams, talent and ambition have driven him and we the "fans" have benefited from his artistry. And...in a sense...we are "greedy" for "more" of him. I want more and more and more of Junho in whatever he does. I love him as part of 2pm and am absolutely crazy about his solo singing career. He's absolutely charismatic and mesmerizing on stage. It's hard to choose what I like best...his singing or acting careers. Why choose? I love both. I do have to say that as an actor he is one of the best I've ever seen in Korea and I think he will become known as one of Korea's best actors. Of course, that all depends on his roles but hey...I've liked all his projects and I'm sure I will in the future.

@@ddreileyz Yes it's true I was even speechless, you said exactly what I think and I agree with everything you said. This is also one of the things that attracts me the most about him, when he said he really wanted to win Baeksang I was also impressed and also I was thrilled when he said that, when he said he was so incredibly honest Junho is so honest in his words it's something really admirable. The ambition that Junho has, I like that and I can understand him being ambitious because I believe that makes you get what you want and make your dreams come true and being ambitious is fine as long as you don't step on others to get what you want and Junho doesn't do that he is very humble and not at all arrogant, he wants to be the best in everything he does and this is commendable so he will do it perfectly and will be much recognized and admired, as you said his ambition is born of his dreams and desires. I'm sure he was happy to be recognized by the Baeksang voting committee that he's one of my best actors they've ever seen. It really is us fans who benefit from his beautiful art, sometimes i feel the same way i get so greedy wanting more from him too i always want to see him acting, singing and dancing doing anything because i really love absolutely everything about him and him what he does, i also don't see why choose between acting and singing career i love them both without conflicts. For me too Junho is really one of the best actors i have ever seen in Korea he can be recognized as one of the best actors in Korea yes, yes it all depends on his roles but i'm sure he will do an amazing job. For me I also love all his dramas and I'm sure I'll love all his future dramas I trust him a lot

@@RaquelSilva-nz6pb You know...on May 6 when they had the Baeksang award show...I found someone on YT that was broadcasting it live as part of his "reaction" video series. I watched it and when I saw DP and Squid Games getting all the awards my stress level was very high. I'm such a fan of Junho that I really, really wanted him to win not just because of who he was but because I believed he had produced a Best ACTOR performance. I don't know how many times while watching TRS that I said wow...wow...wow....on and on he just blew me away with his acting. I've been watching Kdramas for over 10 years so I've watched A LOT to the point where Kdramas are all I watch these days. I've stopped watching American TV. So I guess I "think" I can judge Junho fairly and say he is one of the best and that's why I really wanted him to win. Well...my stress level was SO High that I decided to go to sleep. Little did I know that 10 minutes later I could have actually seen him receiving that award LIVE rather than much later when I woke up. I wanted to beat myself up!!! I so wanted to see him receive the award in real time and I blew it. Hahaha...that's how crazy I am about Junho.

@@ddreileyz I know, unfortunately I couldn't watch it because at that time I was sleeping, but when I saw Squid Game and DP win all the awards my stress level also went up, Squid Game won the top prize of the Baeksang award when I saw this I was disappointed. I already had the idea that Junho could win I followed the vote and I thought it was already guaranteed but actually it didn't just depend on the fans vote but it also depended on the Baeksang committee vote for Junho to win the best actor award. I really wanted to for Junho to win the award, it might be selfish of me to say this, but Junho was the only one I rooted for win and he was the only one I wanted to win this award, would have been amazing if I had watched it in real time. Wow I'm impressed that you watch dramas for more than 10 years, i only watch dramas for 7 or 8 years, also i think you can judge Junho's acting well. Yes i thought the same i also believed he had produced a "BEST ACTOR" performance, he was really splendid and impeccable, i also don't know how many and how many times i said WOW... WOW... WOW while watching The Red Sleeve is so fascinating... I always say too when I see his dramas again I watched them all and I'm even sad because I want to see new dramas from him but there aren't any which I haven't watched yet... So I watch his dramas again as I love them all and yet every time I see it it's WOW after WOW. Hahahaha that's how I'm so crazy about Junho I understand you perfectly, are we both crazy about Junho.

@@arkive88 I think, he is very aware of that, that's why he did not even prepare a speech because he thought he would never get such an award, and they encouraged him, and he is very thankful of that, also Lee Jung Jae has won Baeksang 6 times, so they wanted to encourage and support promising young actors. He was soo nervous and sooo grateful, you could feel it

I think this is called REAL! Junho is a bit flustered, even the speech is not that well-prepared. This is huge for him. He is craving for this, but it’s kinda a disbelief that he could really reach it. After 15 yrs of idol life, the humbleness is already engraved in him. This is the real and genuine reaction.

Most people couldn’t say anything without a speech but since he has a background of being an Idol, that helped him somewhat. He’s very humble.

Junho is a good actor,and he deserved to win,forseeing him to be in the top 10 highest pay actor list.

I was moved by his speech, Junho is so lovely and honest and sincere I admire him so much he is such an amazing and admirable person, a splendid actor and a fantastic dancer and a great songwriter, I love Junho so much!!! I was so happy and proud that he won these awards, the fact that Junho didn't prepare an acceptance makes me think that he didn't want to create expectations and get frustrated if he didn't win... He didn't expect it but he really wanted to win, I thought it was so natural and sincere for him to say that... I'm so looking forward to the next project I'm dying to see him acting and I'm really looking forward to 2PM's comeback this year

Wow, the competition was amazing!! 🎉

I was speechless by his acting. He really touched me with his tears, like I cried together and felt the pain of his character. I confess I wasn't expecting much of him because he is an idol ( cha eun woo for example has to improve A LOT). But I was very surprised! He acted even better than some veteran actors (like Lee Min Ho)... His character was a difficult one and he nailed it. I look forward for his future projects.

Estoy de acuerdo q Cha Eun wo tiene q mejorar mucho, puede q sea muy bonito físicamente pero debe mejorar es muy plano sin casi expresión facial, todo lo contrario de junho tiene unas microexpresiones faciales, corporales únicas, bien merecido su premio.

He deserves it! His performance in The Red Sleeve as Yi San was beyond amazing. He made me smile, laugh and cry a lot. It was a whirlwind experience. He nailed it. I hope to see him in more projects in the future. I hope to see him in a good drama again❤️

Why would he? He won a Best Actor award, has nothing to do with music. And at this point, the Lee Junho brand is now more famous than the 2nd gen K-pop boy band 2PM, no need to mention he’s w/ 2PM
