I totally agree, Flower of Evil has a great script and I am glad drama director Kim Chul Kyu managed to make LJK shine , he got out of him his best acting skills, I have being in DramaLand since 2012, and this drama is one of my favorites.

Miss Muffin Stay To b ehonest, I have seen all the 2020 kdrama series and only Lee Joon Gi acted so well. Others are romantic comedies but acting wise, it's Jon Gi. If he does not, then just like MAMA (a cooking show).. the award is based on popularity not talent. BEST ACTOR: LEE JOON GI BEST KPOP GROUP:BIGBANG Both are complete package. Incomparable.Most versatile actor/group.

Yeah I hope he at least gets nominated for a Baeksang or SIDA for Best Actor. His filmography is not that extensive for someone who has been in the industry as long as he has but is way more diverse than many A-list actors/actresses.

💙 Flower of Evil should bring a shower of awards for Lee Joon Gi‘s phenomenal acting

those who are dissapointed why Lee Joon Gi is not the best actor or top excellence , stay calm and undestand it :) What Joongi won is one of the highest award next to Daesang , HALLYU AWARD or KOREAN WAVE AWARD is not about voting/or popularity which what we thought of. HALLYU AWARD is like an international award where the ACTOR skills/drama was became a hit worldwide , not only in his country but how the actor contribute his acting skills to SBS Drama this 2016, how Hallyu wave formed by people in every country got attached to Scarlet Heart Ryeo bcause of his acting skils as Wang So . THe MC said that this award is one of the highest grand award and it is not about popularity also , there are panel of judges who will check if that winner is really a hallyu star , who in their station , out of all dramas , contrbute more. its a big achievement . So dont be mad now :) it just happend that the MC/or SBS did not fully explain more the meaning of the award, even lee joon gi is confused whe he won before daesang and what is hallyu award. so i am very proud of Lee Joon GI coz this is really his wish , that his acting will be known internationally , his character will be loved everywhere, his passion and hardwork will be recognized. and it came true ! :)

yes its a voting poll but at the back of it SBS/MC said there is still a panel of judges , so its voting and judging , of course they want to know also if that actor really contributes his acting as an actor to be known around the world .and Joongi really will won this because of his acting as wangso that was well received not only in korea but more on other countries as well :)

Lee Joon Gi is a beautiful man. He has that ‘extra something’ that makes him a great actor and his on screen presence is incredible. Plus his voice is amazing. He’s one of my favourite Korean actors. I can’t wait to see more and more of him on screen. Supporting him from Australia.⭐️🇦🇺

though he was very shy and somewhat intimidated to speak english at first... wow!!! just when i thought he would say the usual phrase like "thank you for all the love and support blah blah..." but then he surprised me with his words. "my heart goes out to all of you who always show me endless support from various place around the world. none of these would be possible without you guys. thank you so much and i love you all. thank you!" even jang geun suk, who can speak english fluently btw, was very impressed. well deserved award! he really can represent/promote his country and communicate with international fans.

we all know that he deserves the daesang award, but just like what positivethinker999 said, being recognized by international audience is more than enough. i don't understand their language but i can feel or understand what's going on during live streams or even without subtitles simply because of the way he acts in every scene. his acting is on point. he is indeed one of the best actors in korea, no doubt about it. but maybe it's not his time yet to receive the award. and it's a good thing! there's always room for improvement (if he really need one). and we can still enjoy his upcoming works.

Came here after watching Flower of Evil, and I wish he will get a daesang for his acting role in FOE. He's a very versatile and professional actor! He deserves global recognition along with Moon Chaewon for their lovely drama. And, I can't believe he looks younger as years go by.
