This is going to sound weird but she is really good at crying. So many actors over do it sometimes where it starts feeling cringe but she balances dramatics with emotions perfectly.

It's so gut wrenching that KangHo missed MiJoo being pregnant, and that he wasn't there for YeJin and SeoJin's births. You know they both just love each other so much, he would've been over the moon to find out he was having kids, let alone twins. He would've been as silly and crazy joyful as his dad was 😭 And now he finds them years later and he just fits so easily into their lives. They both adore him so much. It kills me when I think of the moment where he goes up to them and hugs them as their dad for the first time 😭😭😭😭

The background music and the flash back during the scene where he thought he lost Mi Joo to another man and had already a family of her own, it wrecked him. :( Then fast forward realizing that the kids were his after all. The raw emotions flooding up to him hugging them as their dad, so poignant. OMG I kept replaying it, the best scene ever.

It's also sad she had to do it all alone, going through everything while also her believing that she got betrayed by him,more than kangho, I'm happy for mijoo that she got to know the truth and she got her happy ending ❤

Wow, that was dramatic. When she started hitting him, her acting went up quite a few notches. Mega brilliant, she portrayed that part well. Loved her acting. As for her partner in crime, well, what can you say it is his time. Both of them can shine.

I was melting the whole moment of Kang-ho revealing he regained his memories to his mom especially to Mi-joo and him hugging his kids was melting, You wont believe i was praying the entire time for him and Mi-Joo.

this kdrama has a very good representation of our parents especially nowadays. the "good bad" mother. the good signifying the good intentions of our parents to raise us, the bad signifying the "intentions" being done in a way that it makes your child resentful towards you as their parent. parents want what's best for us, but because of that, they're forgetting to ask us how we feel. this lead to hurting one another emotionally. but of course, as children, we know the good intention of our parents so even if we resent them for their parental way, we still appreciate and love them for it. i'm just glad about one thing: kang ho and young soon having a closure between their conflict as mother and son, and young soon being present when kang ho put the two responsible for his father's death in jail then later dying while his son was singing to her in her sleep. i would be very furious if the drama ended without young soon and kang ho not having a proper closure before she dies.

Please Ho-Mi couple, Seojin Yejin parents, let them be a happy family, they deserves it after all they've been through 🥲

I love her acting on Hospital Playlist too.. Now this.. Hopefully she will star in more dramas in the future

One of my previous comments I mentioned I had told my daughter in law a little about this movie. She does not like watching unless the full episodes are aired. I found out recently, after that sneak peek I gave her, she was curious so she started watching. She said it’s so good and wad upset cuz now she has to wait til next week for the last two episodes. I had to chuckle, she broke her own rule. 😊❤

Best drama I watched this year so far , excellent acting skills (Mom and son) the rest of the actors and actresses was amazing

This is a pretty good quality show. I really enjoyed my experience.

I'm tired of reading comments saying "she shouldn't have forgiven him". First of all, I don't agree with Kang-ho's decision to leave her for revenge and I would have liked them to show a better apology scene later. But I understand it, because all his life he was raised (programmed) for revenge and it was necessary to do justice for what happened to his family and to prevent others from suffering. He walked away when he realized that there were more powerful people involved and it could be dangerous for Mijoo. He offered to explain the reason for their breakup but she didn't want to listen to him, nor did she tell him that he would be a father (which is something he had a right to know and maybe it would have made him change his mind). I think that the drama tries to show everything that has to be sacrificed for revenge, because we also see that Kangho's relationship with his mother deteriorated a lot for the same reason

This is one of my favorite series. This scene was amazing. Love both of these actors and the one who played his mother as well. The kids, the villagers and the bumbling gangsters were just comic relief. 😊

The way Mi-joo goes from being relieved Kang-ho is all better to beating him up for being a complete @sshole when he left her 😂 No my girl didn’t hold back! 👸🏻Yes Kang-ho has a lot to apologise for but sometimes actions speak louder than words. I don’t need to hear minutes worth of dialogue when his embrace says it all.

Mi Joo b3ing pregnant again would have been a nice ending as well so Kang Ho will have a 2nd chance to be with her during her pregnancy

I would have preferred 2 more episodes and not end it so fast. I loved the whole drama but it would have been great I think if they had 16 Episodes instead of 14.

i actually like how it wasn’t a big dramatic reveal. i feel like kangho being reserved is just his personality. besides, he has to finish what he started which is why he said that after that is done, then he’ll beg for her forgiveness.

It's fascinating that she forgave him after so much pain he gave her without even telling her the reason

their situation is not black and white. he didn’t leave her just because of some shallow reason. he had an important reason to which she eventually understood. if she decides not to forgive him, then that would be valid too. but again, she loves him, he loves her, he had a reason, and if there is a chance she can give her kids their father then why not? also, let’s not forget that he didn’t even know that she was pregnant at the time.

A very disappointing scene. They built so much tension and in the end they treated the whole story casually. He did not sincerely apologize for what he did (no matter what the reason for his abandonment - he still abandoned her) and she forgot everything in a moment because "he suffered more than her" I did not know that suffering is a matter of competition. In addition, he assumes that he will take part in the children's lives without asking her and takes into account that she will forgive him and it is only a matter of time. She on the other hand forgives him in a second and forgets the whole abandonment. I did not see here his respect for her and her self-respect for herself. And how much I waited for this scene. disappointment.

I think that’s because his revenge plan isn’t finished yet, so I treated this as a “pre-apology” . He says he is going to be the one who will wait for her forgiveness so he is not expecting her to forgive him.

He is in the run, and didn't you heard, he told her DO NOT FORGIVE ME YET WHEN I COME back safe I will ask for your forgiveness Anyways, Mijoo told him what she was bottled up but she already had the conversation with his mom where she explained the whole situation and he hard them, I think that conversation was more meaningful to MiJoo and MOM than this one. Also, thwy understand each other so well that now even MiJoo is involved in trying to help him so now he doesnt lose alone again.

you just want her to hold a grudge and hate him while he begs on his knees for forgiveness so of course anything else will feel flat and won't be satisfying but that won't ever happen, kangho is sorry for abandoning her but he's not sorry for deciding to avenge his father and keep her safe in the process. the reasoning behind his actions immediately makes mijoo's opinion of him not so black and white anymore, she literally says it. it's frustrating and painful for her too because she spent a lot of time resenting him and she wants to continue but it's difficult when she understands where he's coming from, that's the beauty of the drama and the complexity of their characters.
