If this headlamp would feature stepless brightness adjustment as well (just like my H7R Core does) - then THIS would be the ONLY headlamp you'd ever need! The PERFECT general-use headlamp would have the following features: • Focusable flood-/spotlight • Stepless brightness-adjustment (0-1500 lumens) • Magnetic USB-charging • DETACHABLE FROM THE HEADBAND (e.g no battery in the back of your head) • Adjustable color temperature (2700K, 6500K etc...) • RGB-mode (I wouldn't mind having UV & IR options too! 😅) • Strobe + SOS

Hi. Does it work with 2x14500, too? It should, if it accept 2xAA and the battery pack is built with 2x14500, right?

How do you switch between energy saving mode and constant mode? How do you tell which mode it is currently in?

How many Lumens have the RGB-LED? Better as the MH7?

I just bought this headlamp. I love it but there are only 3 strengths + the flash and not 4 as you say in the video and on the box.

I agree. I think the box is very misleading saying it is 600lm when it’s only in boost mode for 10 seconds.

What does the small yellow triangular sticker near the power button mean? "Don't point the MH8 towards a light bulb" ? It doesn't make sense...

There's an eye and a light bulb, so don't look into the light source.

Just purchased, how long do you charge 1st time before the light will come on.

Hi Eddie, full charging time is 270 minutes. As the battery comes already with a certain charge level, you will probably need less time until you reach 100%.

The headlight will be available when to buy? I supost she is waterproof.

Conflicting Information: This video states 600 lumens vs 400 lumens posted on their web page. These folks should change their "alternate battery" description to include rechargeable off the shelf batteries as well as the non eco friendly "disposable" versions.

LL marketing are terrible at explaining anything. You have to look on several different LL websites globally as well as several retailer websites and then you start to get an idea about a particular unit. Then you still have to come here on youtube to try and confirm any conflicting and missing information. I only bother because I really do love the twist focus ring on their products. But the rubbish info has put me off upgrading my lights in the past. I think the 600 lumens is only for a limited 'Boost' mode which only lasts 10 seconds. 400 lumens is what you can run permanently which is why more honest websites advertise 400 lumens. I guess the 600 lumens will create too much heat to run permanently for this product which is why it's just a time limited 'boost'. But yeah they really need to distinguish these things properly. And stop saying 60 hours runtime. No-one is buying these high end high lumen lights to run them at lowest intensity.

Guys your lightings modes are totally teribbly engineered. Were your engineers ok? when they designed it? Why such a expensive headlamp doesn't have a memory? When people turn off lamp they want to start where they turned off. Why lighting modes start from low to high?when you are in some situation you want to see something fast you ether press boost for 10seconds or you have to click 3times slowly to get 400lumens.very bad!!!!!!! Please employ some good engineers please
