Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

Best thing ever recorded. Every guitar note, riff and lick. Every drum beat, roll and fill. The Hammond organ just filtering through in the delicate moments leading up to the most effective crescendos imaginable. I think I’d even love this without any vocals. Then the vocals. Oh my frickin GOD! And when it’s almost done he tells us “just one more, JUST ONE MORE!” and then “SIIIIIIIINNNCCCE I’ve been loving you”. If this is not the most amazing contribution to the ocean of sound then shut up because it is. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone.

Truly the spectacular blues capability of Zeppelin shines. Bonham's structured restrained measured rolls, Page's disciplined riff virtuosos and Plant's spectacular vocal power and range held in place by the latticework of Jones's organ mixed with Page's guitar is just incredible. *Since I've Been Loving You ( lyrics 100% accurate)* -------------------------- Oh Workin' from seven to eleven every night really makes life a drag I don't think that's right I've really been the best, the best of fools I did what I could, yeah 'Cause I love you, baby, how I love you, darlin' How I love you, baby, mama, love, little girl, little girl But, baby, since I've been lovin' you, yeah I'm about to lose-a my worried mind, aw, yeah Everybody tryin' to tell me that you didn't mean me no good I've been tryin', lord, let me tell ya Let me tell ya, I really did the best I could I've been, I've been workin' from seven a-to eleven every night I said, it kind of makes your life a drag, drag, drag, drag Lord, yeah, that ain't right, now, now Since I've been lovin' you, yeah I'm about to lose my worried mind, yeah Watch out I said, I've been cryin', yeah Whoa, my tears, they fell like rain Don'tcha hear them, don'tcha hear them fallin' Don'tcha hear them, don'tcha hear them fallin' Do you remember, mama, when I knocked upon your door I said, you had the nerve to tell me a-you didn't want me no more, yeah I open my front door, I hear my back door slam You know, I must have one of them new-fangled, new-fangled back-door man, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah I've been a-workin' from seven, seven, seven to eleven every night, it kinda makin' life a drag D- A drag. drag, ohh, yeah, it makes it a drag Baby, since I've been lovin' you I'm about to lose, I'm about to lose, lose my worried mind And just one more, just one more Oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, yeah, since I've been lovin' you I'm gonna lose my, my worried mind
This is quite possibly the best song ever written
Oh my!! It’s like…equal parts of jazz, blues and rock got together and created a holy trinity.

People praise the living shit out of this song.
Вопрос? Как можно было в 22-26 лет так чувствовать музыку, так жить в ней, чтобы написать ,сыграть и спеть этот шедевр. И ведь все их поколение в разных группах в то время были совсем молодыми! Откуда этот дар божий?

I love them all

I'm in my fifties and believe it or not it's the first time I'm listening to this masterpiece ! I don't know what just happened but I'm in tears...all I knew from Led Zep was Stairway to Heaven and Immigrant Song. Greetings from France.

Un monument « musical « que tu peux écouter à la suite , sans jamais te lasser ….
Its the best and only hard proof that we dont live in a simulation - A.I. never could produce such a guitar solo - thats about it! :)
the best fckin song ive ever heard
