Lyrics Ah, I caught you smilin' at me, that's the way it should be Like a leaf is to a tree, so fine Ah, all the good times we had, I sung love songs so glad Always smilin', never sad, so fine As we walk down the country lanes I'll be singin' a song, you hear me callin' your name Hear the wind whisper in the trees Tellin' Mother Nature 'bout you and me Well, if the sun shines so bright, or our way is dark as night The road we choose is always right, so fine Ah, could any love be so strong when so many loves go wrong Will our love go on and on and on and on and on and on? As we walk down the country lanes I'm singin' a song, hear me callin' your name Hear the wind whisper in the trees Tellin' Mother Nature 'bout a-you and me My, my, law-de-law, come on, now, it ain't too far Tell your friends all around the world Ain't no companion like a blue-eyed Merle Come on, now, well, let me tell ya What you're missin', messin' around them brick walls So, of one thing I am sure, it's a friendship so pure Angels singin' all 'round my door, so fine Yeah, ain't but one thing to do, spend my natural life with you You're the finest dog I knew, so fine When you're old and your eyes are dim There ain't no 'Old Shep' gonna happen again We'll still go walkin' down country lanes I'll sing the same old song, hear me call your name Source: Musixmatch

Little did the members of Led Zeppelin know, but in just shy of three months time one of the most profound events in the history of mankind would unfold. My mother was eating a greasy hotdog with chili, washing it down with root beer when she thought she was stricken with the vapors. But alas, I was making my break from the confines of her hot and muggy womb into a no less hot and humid Southern Appalachian summer day. The nurses all gathered 'round And they gazed in wide wonder At the joy they had found The head nurse spoke up Said, "Leave this one alone" She could tell right away That I was bad to the bone.

Bron-Yr-Aur means "golden breast" or "breast of gold" in Welsh, as in a hillside of gold. Its pronunciation is [ˈbrɔn ər ˈaɪr]. The cottage had no electricity or running water, but the change of scenery provided inspiration for many of the songs on the album, including "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp".

I remember being at this concert in 75 as a teen at 16 years old. It was the 2nd time to see Zeppelin in Dallas. I don't remember the show at all. Only the very first song. The band messed up so bad they actually stopped playing. Robert said "Welcome to our rehearsal" & the crowd gave them a great amount of applause before the show continued. There seems to be the Presence of A Life Force, whenever Led Zep performs. Whether Jimmy is playing a double-neck or acoustic or fender or Gibson; whether Bonzo is stomping or hard-drumming; whether Jonesy is playing organ or bass; or whether Plant is grooving standing or sitting on stool. I guess as he had used the guitar for the preceeding two tracks and it was in his hands that he decided it would be as quick to do it himself (all three acoustic tracks sequenced together on this tour are in different tunings!). Jimmy had to tune the guitar to F before the song? He didn't have a second guitar already tuned for that song?

Little did the members of Led Zeppelin know, but in just shy of three months time one of the most profound events in the history of mankind would unfold. My mother was eating a greasy hotdog with chili, washing it down with root beer when she thought she was stricken with the vapors. But alas, I was making my break from the confines of her hot and muggy womb into a no less hot and humid Southern Appalachian summer day. The nurses all gathered 'round And they gazed in wide wonder At the joy they had found The head nurse spoke up Said, "Leave this one alone" She could tell right away That I was bad to the bone.
