LED Low Beam Install 2017-2019 Honda CRV/Civic (SEALLIGHT H11)

Thanks to everyone supporting my videos!
I was finally able to find a good set of LEDs to buy on Amazon.ca! I've been wanting to install LEDs for a while because the stock halogen lights just don't look as nice. 3 weeks later and the LEDs are still holding up very well. I will keep a pinned comment for updates.
Please make sure you adjust your headlights so they don't blind oncoming traffic 🤡🤡🤡
They're a pretty good price and supposedly have a "one year warranty". I recommend them but I am not affiliated with the company by any means.

    I've got Luyed H11 Leads in my EX so I had to adjust the height of the beams to be lower. They shine way down the road now and light up more of the road to the sides like if I had my fog lights on but I don't. My dash cam picks it all up on screen how wide the beam pattern is but to the naked eye you can't see it. My younger brother was so impressed with the color that he ordered a set for his Accord sport that came with projectors. I'm still waiting to see what those look like I'm his car.

    Awesome mod. You just saved us current and future crv owners couple grand instead of going with a touring model! I drive a Honda that’s not a crv but soon to trade. It has full led headlights and I believe there’s no fan either. Probably that heat is normal but if you protect the wiring with those plastic tubing to match the engine bay you’ll be good. I’ll save this video and liked it thanks! 🙏

    Glad this video helped! I'm still running them today and the heat doesn't seem to be an issue. I just make sure that nothing is making contact with it in case it'll melt plastics. The touring housing is nicer but I don't care enough for the price difference haha

    I'm glad the video could help! They hold up well in the weather (functionality) but for brightness, I would say they're not significantly brighter than the halogens. I definitely wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for better brightness in the rain. I've been thinking of getting fog lights as I'm sure they will improve visibility way more during harsh weather.

    Don't worry. I have these in my crv. They will get hot but not to the point where it'll damage anything. Just be careful about touching them. Let them cool off. All LEDs get hot. Some have fans but these just have heat sinks. You'll be fine.

    Have other drivers been flashing you thinking the LED’s were your high beams? I just ordered a pair for my 2020 CRV EXL, it has LED running lights & blinkers but not the headlights which makes no sense! I’m also swapping out all my interior & backup/reverse lights so I will be 100% LED.

  • @AnthonyMo

    @AnthonyMo

    3 жыл бұрын

    Im surprised they dont have leds from the factory as well. I made sure that I adjusted the beam to match the same level as the original bulbs and I have not been flashed for my headlights at all. I also made sure that it wasnt pointed too high by walking down the road to see how the headlight would look like to oncoming traffic. It should be good as long as you make sure you make any needed adjustments of the beam height :)

    @@AnthonyMo - Good to hear, I’m going to do what you did with the tape on my garage door measuring the halogens first & then the LED’s, hopefully it will be dead on like yours, if not I found the adjustment screw to raise & lower the assembly if necessary. Are you going to do the high beams or fogs? Mine came with LED fogs but I think I could do a lot better, they seem to be more for show than performance. I got my bulbs off of BRI Source and they had a chart that said the 2012 on up CR-V also needed a CANBUS decoder to prevent a “headlight out” error message on the dash, must be for bulbs that are not CANBUS compliant. Some places call these a decoder and others call it a anti-flicker device but it’s the same thing - just capacitors that smooth out the voltage and provide enough resistance to equal a Halogen bulb. Great job, they look so much better than the halogens with a big increase in performance, no light scatter or flickering and not a lot of money, wish all car mods were this easy and worked this well!

  • @AnthonyMo

    @@ZootyZoFo I wont be doing the high beams because i dont use them much in the city and I recently installed a different type of LED fog light on my channel (thats not bright, but just for exterior looks). I think most LEDs these days will come with some kind of decoder which seems to work well on mine (no codes being thrown). I wish mods were as easy as this one as well!

    From my experience I have not gotten any flashes. They are only slightly brighter than the stock halogens while also giving more clairty due to white light.
