Is each feature descriptor clustered separately? or are they concatenated/mixed and clustered as a whole? For eg.: I have HOG and SIFT descriptor.Would you cluster them separately for an image?

Instead of histograms the program should know that if the thing has two wheels, it is probably a bike, because bikes have two wheels. Not so that the machine tries to separate bike from zebra based on some sample images.
