Would anyone pray for me to come closer to God? Update: I'm closer to God than I've ever been before. It's always a new battle every day to choose to spend time and stay close, but I want to thank everyone who's responded to this comment and who have prayed for me. God answered every one of your prayers and they've kept me going from when I posted this comment until right now. Jesus is the king of my life, and no one can be close to God except by Him. I know He is real, and I know my God answers those who call on Him.

Wow, Lecrae is bringing those that are not "in the church" to church, he is getting young people interested in what he is singing about. He is digging in the pits for souls!! He could have broken into the secular rap community, but he loves God! Although he may not have a "traditional" look, or "traditional" sound that's not necessarily a bad thing, times have changed, but God has not. He loves his children and he is using Lecrae and the many other Christian rap artists to bring them to him.

So cool! I have actually had a relationship with God now for a couple years and never listened to Christian rap until 2 days ago when I 1st listened to Zauntee. And that brought me to this song. I've always loved hip hop and rap and now I can have it all! Definitely got a lot of negative vibes from the lyrics of rap music but the beats were so good and some of the flow was so slick it's so slick and it is so cool now to find it With this kind of message behind it. Lecrae is honestly one of the best rappers I've ever heard. Not just because of his amazing lyrics, but he's just a fantastic rapper. Rapping well actually does take talent, and he definitely has that. I can't wait to hear the track he did with Lindsey Stirling! It's my dream collab and it finally happened! 💙

Haha, when the first guys commented about NF, I had no idea what they were talking about. It just so happened that a couple weeks ago, my brothers were playing NF and I looked him up and I'm literally obsessed with his music now. Definitely up there with Lecrae for my favorite rappers.

Hey, you good its been a year, how is ur relationship wth god now? Personnaly Im walking away from him rn cant help it don't know what to do, getting lazy, cant be bothered to pray, feels like there is no god yet he's done so much miracles to me. This song speaks to me because I have been in the muck and the mire, even as recently as early this year..... The Bible says confess your faults to one another...... I was doing stuff that I was not ready for, and God had told me to stop, I didn't stop..... That is disobedience, and is the very definition of sin....... Now take a look at yourself before you judge me, God had to show me myself and I didn't like what I saw.... It was not a friend or family member who put me in this place, I allowed myself to be taken there.... My point is this, I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, very deeply stained within sinking to rise no more, but the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry, from the waters lifted me now safe am I..... Love lifted me....... I think about a Holy God reaching down into the muck and the mire and picking me up and setting my feet on solid ground..... Did He spank me and put me to bed without supper..... No, He held me tight in His arms, and told me that it was OK, He is still holding me and I don't ever want to let go of His hand again! This is what I love about lecrae. He gets the message out without harassing people and does it well. But God is truly amazing! Accepting him as your savior would be amazing! I'm not saying there want be no flaws, but keep strong in faith and God will deliver. Amen brotha! This made my morning. I love hearing of new souls seeking God. I'm 19 man and before I gave my life to Christ I felt low, I would stare into a mirror and I would feel disgusted. I would smoke weed thought it was cool, I would get faded. I wouldn't seek God because I thought they were a bunch of crazy people with strict rules being stripped of life. But really Christ set me free... Now I go out and spread the message. God loves you man so much and I do I hope you find what you're looking for. And you will because that's a promise from God! I don't know, I mean every time I try and look up answers for my questions and what not, they just don't make sense, and I just have so many questions and I don't know what to do with them, I feel like if God was real, I'm not doubting his existence, that this whole life is like a game, like why pray if he already has a future planned out and it can't be changed? And why pray for him to show himself if he already knows the time that that's going to happen? And what about all the people he created that are literally just growing up as cold blooded killers and, does he use people like that just to show how bad the worlds getting? I don't get it. I feel like this is all a game? Can anyone explain this to me please? I'm also joining the Marine Corps in about a week or so, and I've wanted to my whole life, so what does he say about that? I mean, I'm going to enlist either way, but there's just so much and it's SO HARD to believe that he's there, like I want to believe but it's so hard and what if someone else wrote the bible? What if everyone who said they believe just ended up dying and nothing happened to them? I mean why would Jesus come 2 thousand years ago when there wasn't any cameras or anything? Is it all for trust? Because it seems impossible for me, and like I said, doesn't he already have a future planned out for us? So I'm saying like if someone told me to pray, he already knows when he wants to show himself right? Or am I wrong? Because some people probably go their whole life without feeling the presence of God. Idk if I'm the only one that thinks this way or not..

Guys just a head up, getting close to God is not easy. We face many battles and go through depression and anxiety. But God can change you. God is there even when we can’t feel it. If you feel like your not close to God please don’t feel guilty we all go through it.

Was looking for ways to relate to God after forgetting how to walk with Him. Always kept facing my own shortcomings in having forgot about how to live with Him. Just remembered recently when praying for help form my heart that He is always faithful. Blew my mind away! That's what I need now against all that tries to keep me away from Him!

I have seen some NOT all of the comments on here. I do believe everyone has a right to believe what they so choose to believe. I was once a satanist. I have done horrible things in my past however I am now a Christian. I am a NEW creation in Christ. People often say well how do you know God is real. I know because I have a personal relationship with Him. He speaks to me constantly. All I know is this if we ( Christians) are wrong than what have we got to loose, BUT, if we ( Christians) are right in our beliefs that GOD is the only way to eternal life then look at what we are going to inherit. I do not bash anyone on their own beliefs that is why we were given free will But it is time Christians stand up for Christ and do not be ashamed and do not bash those who believe differently that you do. Pray for your enemies.

I have listened to many christian artists. I just found out about Lecrae and I believe he stands out from the others! He has the passion and fire just as Jesus had while he was on this earth and still has through His servants! I truly believe God gave this man a voice to speak, testify and sing for those of us who cannot speak for ourselves!! Truly Lecrae speaks and sings life to those of us who feel alone, abandoned and rejected. Bless him for testifying that our identity is in Christ and we surly are not alone!!

i just recently decided to give my life to god and to tell the truth it is hard giving up my old music and style. I'll pray for you. I'm 15 and I have been a Christian my whole life, but it was struggling with terrible things like pornography and stuff like that that has helped me really grow as a Christian. Always remember that we Christians aren't just some massive support group. We are an ARMY. And we help any of our brothers who gets hit by the devil's schemes: we all do.

I just wanted to come on here and say how much the Lord has impacted my life, I went from someone wanting to sleep with every girl I could, drink, smoke, party all and everyday, but as soon as I pray for Jesus to forgive me, I felt his presence in my heart and I don’t like those things anymore, I want to continue to live a life for Him and continue to spread the Gospel in Jesus Name🙏🙏🙏 The other night I actually talked to a group of people in this social vr game using my vr headset, there was a girl from Ukraine, dude from Australia, me and another dude from Texas, and this dude from the Middle East, and the fact that none of that mattered and we just sat there and talked and laughed and had fun and learned each other’s cultures just made me realize how much the world tries to make us hate each other and go to war with each other when we should be laughing and having fun! Just made me sad realizing that!
