I think he was sincere. He's just going through it. We are living in confusing times. There's so much information out there and different beliefs. We don't know the power of fame and money. I'm sure it can really distort a person's perception. May God guide him.

@@MrDwinn1 We don't know, only the Lord Jesus Christ knows and I am glad he will be handling the judgement and not us. Hopefully Kanye will be saved, but we do not know yet. There are plenty of indications in scripture where it took years for people to grow in their understanding of their relationship with the living God. I bear testimony of this where God has changed me through helping grow in the knowledge of the Gospel and what he achieved through the cross and the implications of that in my own life. Eternal life is to know who he is, we will be spending eternity growing to know our God which is an infinite experience.

There are 613 commandments that God gave to Israel, however, even though the gentiles were not given the law, they too will perish without the law as well. All people are sinners. No one keeps the law. The bible says that if you fail at one point, you’re guilty of it all. No human being has been able to keep the entirety of the law of Moses, so none of us are divine. If you say you have no sin and keep his law, you’re anti Christ and completely and utterly depraved.

To be made in the image of God means you have his spirit in you. Being an image of God is being a mirror of the expressed image of who he is. Everyone is not made in the image of God. The world is full of people who are dead spiritually. The bible says that sinners are made in the image of Adam meaning they are spiritually dead. You must be born again by faith in Jesus Christ which means God comes to live inside of you and resurrects you from spiritual dead and separation from him. God expresses himself uniquely through his children who are saved but God is the one with all authority and power, not us. His power is to create spiritually alive children and place them in the second Adam, Jesus Christ who is the first born from the dead, the alpha and omega, the first and the last, the everlasting father, the prince of peace, The Mighty God, the prophet, the High priest, King of Kings, the Lord of Lords.
