There will always be a LeBron vs Jordan debate, with answers often dictated by generations and preferences for style of play. One undeniable thing, LeBron is one of the two best NBA players ever. He somehow exceeded the expectations of a player who was viewed as a Hall of Fame talent coming out of high school.

Should not be debate. Ppl intentionally not to mention the opponents MJ played against, in that era Danny Ainge, Dennis Johnson, Jeff Hornacek, Mark Price…were stars. Players were averagely more skinny, smaller, slower, only a few can jump high or shoot 3’s, no big man can dribble, no eurosteps, no shammgod. They played brute, but no skills. Hand check yes, but no zone defense, to which Kobe said “I don’t care if yo hand check with 3 hands” “the zone I think cripples some of the top scorers” When prime MJ left the bulls in 93’ the went from 57 wins to 55, when prime LeBron left cavaliers in 10’ they went 62 wins to 19. And MJ fans always lie about MJ stuff, for example "his vertical jump is 48 inches" and "his body fat ratio is 3%" If those were true, LeBron & Carter would have a 50 inch vertical jump and Helmut Strebl would have -3% body fat ratio.

Its never been a debate. Hes a great player but he's no where near the goat. He hasn't passed several players. The only reason hes constantly being pushed is for the media's narrative. Only top 75 player to NEED 20+ already established allstar/ hall of fame players just to make it to the finals and STILL has a losing record. Thats pathetic.

Lebron’s style wouldn’t be as effective in the 90s since centers could pack the paint with monsters like Shaq hakeem Robinson Ewing in the paint and many others and there was less floor spacing as well. Lebron outside of 3 feet for his career shoots 37 percent which means when he’s not dunking or getting a layup he’s a subpar below average scorer. Well in the 90s he’d have to take more shots outside the paint. Also Duncan was drafted in the 90s and won his first championship and began his dynasty in the 90s and Duncan as an old man ended his dynasty in 2014 when his spurs team beat Lebron’s superteam heat squad in record fashion largest margin in terms of point differential in finals history. Also when Jason Kidd was making all star teams in the 90s Jordan was winning rings. That same Jason Kidd started for the 2011 mavericks that beat Lebron’s superteam heat squad and Jason Kidd was a washed up fossil by that point. So by you downplaying the 90s you’re only making Lebron look worse 😂
