Eh, he didn't play great, but he didn't play terrible. Defensively was engaged and giving effort all night. Was perfect at the line. The biggest issue this season is he hasn't been able to finish well relative to his standards at the rim. People need to realize he's closer to 15 than he is to 10 right now.

His finishing at the rim percentages this season are right at his career percentages at the rim. Finishing isn’t the issue. The issue with Lebron’s impact no longer being at a superstar level is because he’s constantly in game load managing in nearly every contest not giving it his all at all. Compare his performance in the season tournament to the rest of the regular season games it’s 2 completely different players. But as long as he can continue putting up his 25 7 and 7 he will Continue to not try very hard

@@ozzee5094 This game wasn't an instance of him not giving it his all though. Was very engaged on defense throughout the game. Didn't see him taking plays off. His issue this game was not finishing well. Effort is an issue in other games.

@@ozzee5094 My analysis this season was he was top 5 to begin the season. Top 10 at the end of the IST. Since then he's hovering around 18-20. Effort sucks, no doubt, but overall he's still a net positive. Can't really blame effort on him not being able to finish well. Stats don't tell the full story. That's him declining physically. If I were to place Lebron's effort levels on a blame list it would probably go somewhere around 4-6 depending on the day.

He Played SG in 4th? Did you notice guys? Or just me?

He plays all 5 positions during the course of a game, it depends on the possession. You can't pigeon hole LeBron to any fixed position, he plays positionless basketball. He has been doing that for quite a while.

The Lakers never play well during that first game after a long road trip. Hopefully they have enough energy tonight against the Pelicans. But the Lakers do not play well in back to back games, so they probably will lose again tonight. If LeBron is playing tonight, I know he will do what he can, but it is the rest of the players I am worried about.

They didn't play well? They looked more competitive than most regular season games. This is an instance where it wasn't effort. They just got outplayed by a better team in the end

@@StevenC32 8 points isn't a blowout. The Nuggets did exactly what they did in the playoffs last year and in the WCF, which is pull away at the end of games. You're acting like they lost because they "didn't give effort" when they did. They just got outplayed by a better team. I don't know why that's hard to accept

Nobel loss stayed in the game though short, Nuggets at full strength just terrible shots by LBJ cost them

The game was tied with 2 mins left …. There was no garbage time last night . Darvin should’ve called a timeout after the Murry floater , it completely ripped our momentum from us.

@@lillee642 down 10 with 48 seconds left, instead of taking a 3 he went for an uncontested layup. Then Nuggets dribbled out the shot clock and Lakers decided not to foul. Lebron tried to go for another fast break 2 by running from his half to the basket, but no one inbounded the ball to him. It was a total disgrace on Lebron's part, he wanted to pad his FG% from 8/19 to 10/21 with 2 quick buckets

Hes either still injured or this is it but hes been like this for awhile then he'll go crazy a game then back to the passive. I think hes one of those guys who always plays injured and the minute they feel the slighest better over do it and reinjure theirself
