I think that on their discussions before end of year 2023, Lebrón attitude was a main point to decide if continuing or not together. Until now it was fine, but the fight in the match against Garrido and Yanguas could be too much to ignore. It is a pity but it would happen before or after. Great summary and video, Pablo!

This is some wild news. There was a time when I would have welcomed this, when Galan/Lebron dominated too much on the court. Now, I think its a pity, as Galan/Lebron are one of the few couples who can beat Stupa/DiNenno and Coello/Tapia. We obviously don’t know what the relationship between Galan/Lebron looks like in private, so we cannot say anything about chemistry isssues there. The public controversies are another thing, where you can see that they put a strain on the couple. The public image of the players is interesting where Lebron suffers from an unfortunate combination of ”resting bitch face”, aggressive facial expressions when he’s passionate and a difficulty to control himself (as displayed against Yanguas/Garrido). Galan public image is more of a ”good guy”. Just because thats what we see doesn’t mean its true.

But Lebron its known to have a character on court and he should tame himself, Ale is more polite and selfcontrolled. Btw we dont really know 10% about why the decision but we can suspect the reasons. We here have a nice quote that says something like "when the river sounds carries water " :P

I've met Galan and Lebron at the same hotel and at the same time 2 different dates. The difference in attitude between them is day and night lol. Galan was such a nice person! I didn't like Lebron on and off court. @@dansports3176

not gonna lie its bad for the sport to lose one of the 3 best couples ..... the quality lebron/galan , stupa/nenno , coello/tapia have is imo above everyone else ... i wanna hope that garrido/yanguas run this tourney isnt just a wild dark horse run but they are for real since if thats not the case then we are left possibly with only 2 S+ TIER couples. edit: with all that being said chingotto is a very exciting player to watch and im curious to see how he and galan will play together

I had hopes they would continue. But I think something has looked off recently like this has been in the air all the time. One team less that has the skills to beat Coello/Tapia. I think Chingotto and Galan as a team will be very similar to Stupa/Di Nenno. Interesting!

Unfortunately, one can tell you are helping Galan. To minimize what happened in Chile is not fair. Galan did something really bad and Lebron had to eat it up. So both are bad same way!

I remember Galan genuinely looked like he didn't understand what happened in Chile, like he said he heard the referee say the score so he just played according to what was said. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The bad thing they both did was not giving the point away to Tapia/Coello but it's still a final and very understandable that they would take the free chance given to them

@@youssefbadawy9902 that is bullshit. Everyone in there knew the correct score, the crowd reaction on that match point made it very clear. Lebron even went to the net to shake hands when Galan decided to use the refs wrong call as a lifeline to keep themselves in that match.

He was on the court, not with the crowd, so he couldn't be aware of the what happened with the point. But well, if you want to think that Galán is bad person and a bad player, there is nothing that I can say to prevent that.

@@youssefbadawy9902 Believe me, at a certain level you know the score and you know exactly when the ball is out or in. Especially the ball that Coello played, it was very clear that it was in, especially for the pro's, who have experience with how the ball trajectory is etc.
