We used to have a saying in the army: "Anyone can rough it"...That means anyone can go bare bones with no creature comforts. if you can take air fryers, grills, comfy pillows etc. etc, definitely do. I took pillows, a toaster and loads of other creature comforts to wherever we went in the world, exercises and warzones.

Chase the sun. Now is a good time to go far South - not too hot, not too crowded. Perfect for Noah.

As much as I love the snow, with the little one, sun is the way to go. Easier living, no bulky clothes to take on and off and no need to worry if the heater fails.

Definitely go & find some lovely sunshine. Noah will love it. He'll enjoy snowy conditions more when he's a tad older

Good morning from portland oregon. So you guys said you had 6 weeks I would do both. I would head to switzerland and play in the snow and look at the beautiful views until you're done and then drive on down to spain and end your trip with some nice warm weather and some time at the beach, Sounds good to me the best of both worlds.

You could do both… stop In the Pyrenees for skiing and then head down to the south of Spain!!

Snow is hard with and for small babies, go to the sun for him. He can play in the sun and sand and you can have a beer at the bar by the sand. Take in the history of the Mores of Spain! /Catta from Sweden, 1,5m of snow now.

The sun! Being from Canadian winters, and now retired, we head to the sun in February. Love your channel and watching little Noah growing, and the fun you are having with him, as it should be. ❤️🇨🇦

Why not go to Granada in Spain, and go to the Sierra Nevada for skiing in the morning. Then in the afternoon you can go to the beach for a swim at somewhere like Salobrena.

Guys if you go to Italy you can ski in the north e.g Aosta valley then head south for the warmth.

Snow is a chore with a baby. Go warm you all will be happier.

Chase the sun. More for the three of you to enjoy together. Do a snow trip when Noah is a little older and can be more involved with snow activities.

You could do both. Drive to Southern Italy. You'll get snow on the way and sun when you arrive

Vote for the sun! Imagine Noah crawling and playing in the sand on a beach while you both enjoy a nice bevvy with the sun on your faces after a cold grey Brit winter. Head for Spain for sure. Also Emma it is easier to clean your air fryer than it is to clean that little stove top. Noah is going to love this trip.

I like Alex’s rationale for the snow. Plus, I like watching your snowy vids. I’m all for cozy. Summer is on its way anyway; if by some chance you end up with another UK/Europe heatwave this year, you are going to wish you got a dose of Alpine snow.

If you go for snow, you will both get what must be much need space for yourselves to have individual time to recharge. That makes family time much better.

Living in the cold, I'd chase the sun. Aside from warmth, less chance of getting hurt from slippery surfaces. If the little one was a bit older, I'd go for the snow. Either way, hope y'all have a blast!

My husb and I are like that, so I've learned to either come up with a detailed plan (with some down time) OR we just take a weekend away, do nothing, and just be alone together 🥰

Do something enjoyable for yourself everyday.

Snow, you can see the sun for the majority of the year, but snow not so much and Noah will look super cute on a sledge!

With Noah still being so little and not quite walking… chase the sun. 6 weeks in the van will be better if Noah can get out and stretch his little legs at parks and beaches!! Whatever you choose… have fun!!

Would love to see y'all go towards budapest and then south towards Italy or greece! That way y'all can drive through the alps and still chase the sun! Would be really nice to see croatia etc along the way and of course see you guys stop in Budapest!

Currently watching this in Lanzarote on holiday. Mid 20’s each day, not looking forward to returning to “single digit” temps in the U.K. once our holiday ends, so my vote is for somewhere warm; somewhere you can enjoy as a family and not have to take turns watching Noah, and I’m sure he’ll love learning to walk in the warmer weather too.

Start out chasing the sun, you can always head for the snow later in the trip if you choose to. Be safe, be happy and enjoy!

With the little man, it has to be the sun. Andalusia region is awesome this time of year. Mijas Pueblo & Coin near Malaga are highly recommended for a more traditional feel.

Definitely Spain! And stop in Girona (just north of Barcelona). It's a beautiful little city. We lived there for a year. Malaga is lovely and be sure to see Rhonda! Living vicariously through your channel from Canada!

We are chasing the sun and I highly recommend doing it! We drove in our campervan to Turkey and are currently in Greece. It's great to be in the sunshine and go swimming in the sea whilst everyone in the UK is dealing with terrible weather - it makes us so happy 😂

I would say chase the sun as little Bean will enjoy the snow and skiing more when he is older and can participate. Just bear in mind, France and Spain are big countries, the roads in both are much better than the UK, but it is a long drive from France to the south of Spain like some are suggesting. There are some lovely places down the east coast, which will give you more time to explore during your six weeks as you will be doing less driving and the difference in temperature is not that great. Less mileage also when heading home. Also be aware that Spanish farmers are protesting and that might result in some long delays as roads are being blocked. The two main French unions have suspended further action for the time being so I don't anticipate you having a problem there, but the action in both countries could escalate. The further you drive the more disruption you might face. Have a great time wherever you roam.

I'm with everyone else voting for the sun! With Noah it makes the most sense. I'd watch wherever you go though!

Ladybugs! Our mom called us ladybugs growing up because sometimes we were ladies and sometimes we were bugs! 😂 Now in our 50’sand 70’s and still gift each other ladybug themed items. Always love seeing them! Have a great trip where ever you are (and no more people pooping😮)

I would be heading to southern Spain and Portugal. I’m a skier too, but with little Noah I think Spain will be more chill.

Hoping you take good care of the rental van- once rented mine out and never again- clean daily as you go and you’ll enjoy the experience so much more - loved the van life with 2 kids back in the day - staying organized and keeping it tidy daily was key

Spain is FANTASTIC...if you've never been to Malaga and that region...highly recommend! Tossa De Mar, Rondo...all incredible. Plus a snow/ski trip with Noah will most likely be in your near future. How old can they start skiing? Either way...enjoy and safe travels.

After 34 yrs of snowy winters in Colorado, I'll vote for chasing the Sun!! I've not been to Spain, either, so would cherish seeing it through The Beans' eyes!!!

Sun! Cold IS cozy but it's also...cold. It could be a fun change of pace! But let's be honest, we're here for the Beans whether they're enjoying winter sunshine or freezing their bums off. Also here for Noah smacking the fridge. Brings us back to when our kids were little!

I'm with Alex, I was in Spain for 10 weeks. Now I'm back and just installed 230V for the sole purpose of an airfryer/slowcooker.... And Spain is wonderful, so I would say chase the sun!

One of the most fun trips that my husband and I ever took was: Nice/Monaco for a week Then Venice for a couple days Then through the entire former Yugoslavia Caught a ship in Athens for a week exploring 5 Islands. Back through the French Alps Back through different roads to Paris. Awesome, awesome trip

Yes! My oldest took his first steps in a camp trailer and it makes for a great memory, will never forget that camp trip. Here's to Noah's first steps in the van! 🥰

Chase the sun! Especially with the little guy coming with you!! Little ones are challenging enough without winter weather multiplying those challenges. Remember, you are responsible for providing a healthy environment in which to grow up and be healthy. He may want to snow board when he is a teenager, but that is a ways off!!

As much fun as the snow sounds I'd go for sun with Noah around. Cold temps and snow are much more complicated with a baby. Just pushing a stroller becomes an ordeal. You can all relax in the sun (don't forget sunscreen) and save the snow trip for when Noah is older and more mobile. Can't wait to see what you decide.❤

Go south. La Rioja, Madrid, Toledo, and Sevilla are all lovely places to visit.

My Wife and I have traveled around Europe twice over the last 10 yrs and without a doubt we recommend you head to Spain and the Warmth. Not only will you just love having the warm weather but we found Spain over all was 20% cheaper then traveling to the Alp region which has some of the highest overall prices for Europe. Best of Luck and glad to see the Bean are back on the road where you all belong. 😎

Chase the sun! You can do so many more outdoor adventures that can include the baby. Then, if you have issues with your power or heat, you won't die, and Baby Noah can experience Espana! (I don't have the squiggly line for the "n". You get it anyway.)
