I'm seeing evidence that Casey's daily vlogging thing will come to an end soon. Over the past 2 months he's gotten progressively less interested in posting daily. I predict that he officially goes down to 2 or 3 videos per week very soon. Something is going on in his life that he isn't sharing with us, so daily vlogging is simply becoming more of a pain in the ass than he is willing to deal with. Ever since he and Candice went to Italy and he took the 3 or 4 day break from vlogging, his energy level and normal positivity and excitement about life has gone way down hill. More and more, his recent videos have felt like mere attempts to put things on video and post for us, rather than being true gifts from his heart as was the norm in the past. I hope I'm wrong about this, but I bet he makes some kind of an announcement in the next 30-60 days regarding this issue.

Yep! It can be anything though. We all go trough good and bad times and of course this affects us (and our work). It's just harder to hide as an 'entertainer' where your audience gets to see and judge everything. Then again, maybe he's just reshaping his life. It's good to take a pause every year or so and look at what you're doing. Does it make you happy? What can you change? Maybe he wants to switch back to bigger productions for better story telling? Who knows. Whatever it is, it's all good and we'll see.

3-2-1 Contact! - The BEST yet most forgotton 80s-era show on PBS. God I loved that show..Now i'm probably going to spend all night looking up old episodes of it online.

I think even if we have normal lives outside the internet, there is still a certain level of stress/anxiety from being a daily follower of Casey, knowing we watch him in our free time to get a sunshine view of someone else's cool and cheery life and all of a sudden being cut that daily supply, I think I am not the only person slightly affected in real life by that stress of Casey not posting, its drug-like stuff, like a withdrawal.

I think we could be seeing the end of the Casey Neistat daily vlog, not just because he missed a day or two but it has been mentioned in the past and generally upload regularity is dropping. But Casey genuinely changed the game. An absolutely unbelievable storyteller and if indeed this is the end of the daily uploading from Casey the mark he has left here is undeniable, i will continue to watch each and every piece of content he puts out regardless, sometimes you just gotta do whats right for you. Massive respect.
