How do you get the car insurance? I’m headed out there next Saturday.

I would like to add this. Make sure if you are diving into Mexico that you buy mexican car insurance. If not you don't want the ramifications that come with it if you are pulled over or get into an accident. Also, change your spedometer over from MPH to KM or you could find yourself getting pulled over.

Where do you purchase car insurance from?

so an American can live down there without a passport and visa and all that jazz? or is it just for visiting?

I have a question if i only have my drivers license and social would that be okay or would i have to obtain my birth certificate

I've crossed with just my permanent resident card that had my picture when I was 12 years lol I was 25 so yeah

Yes I have one but it was not needed and the passengers in the car did not have one.

did the border patrol only cheked your passport? and not the occupants?

So, yes he only checked mine’s, however I could of also just showed him my driver’s license and he would of been fine with that. I’m just use to showing mines. There just checking if your US citizen. But if you have occupants they’ll need birth certificate and ID just in case they want to check. But as you can see he wasn’t asking for it 🙂

@@34canita Hi, does it matter if the I.D is an Arizona I.D or not? Let’s say you live in AZ but haven’t switched from your Georgia I.D yet, will they let you through with your birth certificate & Georgia I.D?
