This gentleman is the most skilled carpenter I have ever seen. His work is impecable! I will watch this video several times. I think more people should learn the skills of their culture. We could all take a lesson from this wonderful man!

You, sir, are a master restorer, designer, woodworker, craftsman, bricklayer and artist. Everything you get in your mind you create. And you do so with amazing precision. I just love watching and learning from you! Absolutely stunning. I love that you also taught your son and daughter or daughter-in-law some of your skills. The strength of this man is astounding! And the use of materials is brilliant!

I was in awe of this man. Extremely talented in every aspect. I could watch him all day.

I've already watched this video again and again. And every time there's a new detail that calls my attention. I have to say all words of praise to this artist. I wish we still have many ones in order to perpetuate its culture. The simplicity of his work is further than being ordinary at all. It's sofisticated with intriguing pieces of art. Congrats!!!

This man has now left the old house and the old house he transformed is now a homestay. He says everyone is welcome to experience the country life in the old house. This man took a break from making videos because of a heart attack, and now he's making some new ones. I see his follow-up here （@OldHoueseRenovation）, nearly 10 hours of video. It's super nice.

A Master Craftsman, from dovetail joints to making his own saw bench and planes, not a screw or nail insight hardly. Superb, these skills are being lost today. My late husband could do exactly the same, he was a master of woodworking, his art wasn’t as good, but the details in the transformation from an old piece of wood to beautiful pieces is something else!

Thank you for sharing. So much to be learned and appreciated. It's very humbling watching your work. I've been to Japan a couple of time as a guest artist in ceramics. I fell in love with just about everything I saw on my trips. The architecture, woodworking, ceramics, tea, flower arranging, painting, gardens... all amazed me. It seems you have mastered them all. I'm currently working on designing and preparing to build some log cabins and love that I found this for ideas to incorporate into my plans. I wish building codes weren't, standing in the way of being more creative. I'm sure this video will get numerous watches from me, as it has way too many beautiful ideas to take in, my brain is exhausted from a first viewing. Very impressed with your energy, ideas, skills and the overall magnitude of this project! Your mom must love it and be proud of the man she raised.
