Leatherette Tumbler Design with Seam
In this video I show you how I go about laying out a 20 oz stainless leatherette tumbler. The thing you need to pay attention to is this type of tumbler has a seam in the middle of the tumbler. You don't want your design right in the middle of the seam. If your luck is like mine, that's where it would land!
There are many ways to lay out this type of work. This is what works for me.

That's a great Rotary, I have used mine ALLOT and its very dependable. So many items to play with that's one thing I love about having a laser!
I am curious what the process was after the engraving for the color fill as well.

This is not a color fill, it’s leatherette that has silver colored leather underneath the brown. You burn the top layer away and that’s where the silver comes from. Jds industries caries these tumblers

It seems like everyone has a little different sweet spot, but in this case it was 400 mm/s at 16% power. I have a 60 watt unit.
