Nate is crushing these videos. I reneger when he first started and people were like "I don't like this new guy"
Thank you Garret! Very cool!
To thread your all-thread into the block, put two nuts on it, snugged up together. Then turn the outside one clockwise. It will bind against the inside nut and drive the all-thread like a bolt. Then you won't mar the threads with pliers. ;-)

I can literally braid three and four piece braids, frontwards and backwards, with my eyes closed. If anyone wants to make a whip, and can do everything else, I'd be totally happy to do the braiding! I would have to learn the specific braid, but I'm a quick study when it comes to braiding. ^-^. Edit: you pay shipping. Edit 2: leather needs to be pre-cut!

Demesne Brooks yes, yes it is. I can do other braids, and I know macrame, AND I've recently taught myself to knit with my eyes closed. I just didn't know how relevant the rest of that was to braiding leather lace onto the base of a whip.

staszini I personally think Grant's given up on videos (hence why you only see him for a couple seconds on some videos) I know he said he was taking a break so he could spend more time with his family but I reckon he could still have made like 1 video a week (which would also give Nate a break)

Cool whip making... like the lace cutter tool. One point of advice when screwing in the All Thread to keep from mangling the thread (when it counts): use two threaded nuts jam-locked together somewhere on shaft so a wrench can easily turn the bolt without damaging the thread.
