Leather office chair repair

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is how to fix a torn office chair. I used a stitching awl to sew up my faux leather officer chair.

Nice work man. In today's throw away society, most people would have just trashed it. You gave it a new life. Kudos for that.

Great video, thank you for sharing! My chair has a very similar issue BUT while yours looks a bit easier to pull back together, there is foam from the cushion hanging out of the torn area. Any advice? When I try to push the foam back in, the cushion gets all lumpy.

What is the name of that stitching tool, is it stitching awl ? and where to buy those tools ? I thank you for showing us how to fix this problem, you saved my time and money as well cause I can fix my recliner leather couch now, without throwing it away. Good job buddy.

Yes, it’s a stitching awl. I bought this one at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Las Vegas.

Do you think this method would work on a faux leather office chair?
