This is how to fix a torn office chair. I used a stitching awl to sew up my faux leather officer chair.

literally! got a (almost) brand new $175 gaming chair off the side of the road it was missing one wheel and had one little hole in it, i literally took the pair of legs off my old chair and put it on the new one sewed it up and it’s back to brand new

Great video, thank you for sharing! My chair has a very similar issue BUT while yours looks a bit easier to pull back together, there is foam from the cushion hanging out of the torn area. Any advice? When I try to push the foam back in, the cushion gets all lumpy.

What is the name of that stitching tool, is it stitching awl ? and where to buy those tools ? I thank you for showing us how to fix this problem, you saved my time and money as well cause I can fix my recliner leather couch now, without throwing it away. Good job buddy.

Yes, it’s a stitching awl. I bought this one at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Las Vegas.

It’s 80lb sport fishing line. I got it from Sportsman’s Warehouse.
