Leather Belts with my Heritage Style

My leather belts and not much to see here but enjoy this vid!
There's not a lot on this subject on KZread, the Heritage Men's Style, so here I am starting it for us so we can discuss it.
Many men's styles are focused on current trends but I found myself going back to this heritage style over and over again. If you are finding yourself coming back to this heritage way of style then embrace it and let's do it right together.
This channel is about boosting men's confidence, especially men in their forties or later. It also applies to any men, I mean real MEN that aren't afraid to wear what they want!
Please support and subscribe. If you are willing to go further and fund my heritage clothing adventure, please email me at chris.thomas.stone@gmail.com.

I really like my belts too! 1 1/2" 1 1/4" width for me. I love my Hanks belt! Also you don't have to defend your point of view! I dig it and if someone doesn't well they are just wrong!🤠

Thanks brother! Just venting sometimes haha. That is so funny because I deleted the part that I mentioned Hanks. They do make nice belts. I had one but lost it (or someone appropriated it from my closet)…

I like that first belt! I think of them as fashion accessories first, I guess. Sometimes, I’ll go without a belt, depending upon what trousers I’m wearing. I really like those that have that weaving design.

I’m beginning to like them too! It is hard to break away from the solid leather style for me.

I'm also a 100% belt guy. I hate having to tug on my pants to pull them up when they slip down. More of an issue as I age, for sure. They also look the stuff and IMHO, look great when they complement my boots. That western style belt looks great with the blue/aqua contrast. Well done!

Yeah when I see a dude without a belt several thoughts cross my mind: 1. He’s trying to make a cool/casual fashion statement. 2. His outfit look unfinished. 3. Looks kind of feminine. 4. He thinks he’s Steve Jobs or Jerry Seinfeld.

Thanks for sharing! I never go without a belt because I don’t have a butt and my pants sag. I have worn Red Wing belts for years and love them. However, they are very over priced. Now that the kids are all grown and on their own my wife and I have a little extra disposable cash to spend on things that will enjoy.

My point also gents! It’s good to have a little cash to purchase things we wanted but the funny thing is I don’t even spend my money on those things anymore. I guess priorities have changed!

Hey man, I like your videos. Keep em coming Got a question for ya, not about belts though. I bought a slightly used pair of 1907’s. My dad has always worn red wing for as long as I can remember so I always wanted a pair and finally pulled the trigger. Though he wears the 875. ANYWAY, They are 7.5 D 1907’s that I bought and the right one fits like a glove but the left one- my little toes are kind of ‘scrunched up’ against the leather wall and especially when I flex my step. Do you have any advice on how to solve this problem? I have added some oil to the toe and worked the leather with my thumbs but don’t want to darken it too much. Thanks! -KP

Congrats KP! I had some of those issues with new boots. My Iron Ranger was like that at first but eventually soften up and gave a little more room for my little toes. That’s my experience though so you might have a different one but I think you’re already doing what you can to soften and stretch the area. I used adjustable wooden shoe horns to slowly stretch my dress shoes before and that worked also. That’s good thing about leather. Hope this helps brother. Just be patient with it.

I happen to be in Texas Sean and walked into a store called Richie’s. They were closing down the store due to the owner getting too old to run his store. I’m sure that you can find them in any Cowboy shops or online.

Unless you’re wearing suspenders, a man should definitely wear a belt.

belts these days suck, 95% are 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 ". i want a belt that fits. 2" and 1 3/4. only available custom made where i live. crazy. in the 80s they were available everywhere.

I agree with you that in the 80s they were definitely more available and accessible. There are online stores that customize them though.
