Learning your Canon 6D Mark II Part 2 Menus Red Camera and Blue Play Icon
Who has time to struggle through a 6 language user’s guide? Especially when it was written in one language and translated into English by someone who has never heard it spoken? In this video we go thru EVERY SINGLE MENU FUNCTION in the red camera and blue play menus in the new Canon 6D Mark II. We take the time to explain how using the menu selections will make your camera easier to use and make your images better. We also tell you about some of the choices we make in our menu selections which make our work easier and better. Want to know about bracketing and HDR? This is the video for you.

Excellent ,thank you very much. Just what I needed- knowing what the options are and whether they fit the settings you have already chosen. Very clear and precise. Only just got the camera this month, so just right. Have been ploughing through the manual but this is so much easier. Great!
Great series videos! Just bought 6D Mark2. Great thank you
Thanks a million!!!! I really appreciate all the time you put into these tutorials. My pixel's thank you.

Happy to help
Just ordered a 6d mark ii kit with L lens so this will be very helpful, I’m jumping boats from Nikon to canon, been using Nikon APS-C for four years and it was time for a upgrade to full frame.
Thank you so very much! All your videos on the 6D2 have been very helpful to me.

great series! I just bought a 6d mark ii after years of using a 7d mark ii. Was having trouble with the zone focus settings on the 6d, and these guys showed it plain and clear. Thanks guys!

Thank you.
Thanks, you just glossed over the histogram settings, not sure why, this is the most important item of information I wish to see in the viewfinder??? You, quickly mentioned that viewers could venture to other YT sites to learn about histograms. Don't get me wrong, I am no histogram expert, however, I think I know enough about histograms to set my basic M settings. Will now view the 1st edition, in the hope that you have covered this subject there. Thanks for the helpful series. Have just purchased a mint 6D M2, as really can't afford the L glass in the RF series.
Thank you so much! it was a very useful video.
Great delivery.

Why I cannot set it on M and hss? Whatever I set, it’s lucks on ttl and first curtain! Pls advice
Thanks for the videos guys. Really good info but some things could use a bit more explanation...for example, you say SRGB colors are best (or maybe it’s adobe)...if one is better than the others why would you choose one of the others?

@@MediaUnlocked Then why would others even be an option on the camera?
Is the Lens Aberration recognized by Adobe Camera RAW? In other words, if I set the Lens Aberration correction on in the camera will my RAW image be corrected when I open that image or will the correction will only be applied to a JPEG?

It should be.
I am a littler perplexed "chimping" is used a a pejorative. People don't look at the screen to make sure they have the perfect exposure. They do it to check composition and the lighting. It's odd because the exposure, or the detail you are able to pull back, is the least meaningful part of the photograph. People have taken some amazing photos that capture the human experience and they can have lost detail/noise etc. It just goes to show that the more entrenched people get in something, the harder it is for them to see the forest through the trees.

in your opinion.
I’m use to using a crop frame and I just got the cannon 6dii. I’m struggling with the triangle light. The iso seems to work differently on this camera. Am I wrong? Or maybe I have my settings wrong. Do you have a video on this.

Put your camera in M mode.

I'm seeing the same thing and am in M mode... I think it must have been a firmware update at some point. If you go into movie mode by twisting the outer dial around the live view button, and then re enter the menu and go to 4 or 5, you have to enable time lapse movie, and then finally you see the interval options

at 15:42 (HDR) it is not 'neutral', it is 'Natural'... Please make some edit and correct it...
Great videos, but we get it. You are a master editor. You dont like the camera doing any of the work for you. Move on. But thanks for the videos all the same.
