@@UPAKHOSALA I´m not a pro so I´ve never made any analysis but I remember being quite suprised when I heard my Indian friend counting in Hindi. I was like:"Are you speaking Czech?". But generally you have to dig deep to notice, it´s not that obvious. Funnily enough our rude word for female genitalia is the first 5 letters from the word Kundalini. If I remember correctly it originally means "the gate" or "the root" but we use it in a different way :) A little bit different gate I guess :) The linguists are quite baffled by this rude word as they say it is the only rude slang word that also has a positive meaning (it can be used as a rude compliment for a beautiful woman). Just funny :)

@@tomaskoptik2021 no sir. The very same word with a bit of twist is also used for the same meaning. Ask any of the Indian (Bharat) from the southern side. They would say a word which you could correlate very much. 5 words with a minor change in the 1st alphabet. I should be ashamed of sharing these topics however the imp.point was the chucking out of similarities.

@@vyom1304 Thank you for this piece of information. I will be careful to avoid it when visiting Bharat :)) Anyway I belive I saw a video on yt showing all the languages rooted in Sanskrit. Up to this day I cannot understand how come my ancestors (Slavs) are supposed to come somewhere from Africa or Mongolia while the roots of our language are clearly from Bharat. Just does not make too much sense to me to be honest...

This is gold. I wish this was thought in all schools. My kids are learning good for nothing Roman numerals in school.

Over the past year or so I've been delving more and more into Vedic history. Im Sinhalese and its just as important to learn about the Vedas as it is to learn about buddhism for us. I was literally named "vidusha" lol Hope to learn Sanskrit someday when I finish studying Spanish.

@*😎* In the Vedas, the four "castes" were decided by type of work they do. In the Bhagavadgita too, the castes are designated by type of work they do. Other than the Manusmriti, no scripture banned switching between castes. (This is what I've understood- correct me if I am wrong) Unfortunately, certain "upper" castes capitalized on society's "rank order" of "castes" to become superior. I think that a good Guru will accept a Shudra-born as their student.

I humbly feel that we Indians should first learn our heredatory wisdom & knowledge meant for wel being of our soul as well as human body.For this all religious discourses should be in Indian lanuage preferably in Hindi.Though most intellectuals prefer English to express their thoughts there are certainly many words for which there is no exact word for the word in Sanskrit language.E.g.Atma,Soul, Prana etc.So we should not have inferiority complex in speaking this land's language.I also better understand in my motherland's language.Though I have no grudge against English why all intellectuals impress by speaking English & we remain awestruck.However I highly appriciate the information but let common Indians who are not conversent/comfortable with English also understand the vast knowledge for which the whole world is praising us but as an Indian I have very little knowledge & wish to learn more but finding heaps of books & social media flooded with all languages but very little available in my motherlands language. dayalji gangani, Pune, Maharashtra. अनुग्रहितोस्मि ।।।

@@monkeymayhem1977 I highly doubt that it is a common knowledge since many of us are still struggling to understand it. I for one has been atheist for pretty long time and after reading about the origin of many other religions I recently started going deep into my own so called religion Hinduism, especially after learning about the fact that Hinduism is a western concept given to identify Santana Dharma. Many orthodox Hindu Practitioners follow rituals because either they are told to do so or they learnt it from observing other people around them, most do not delve deep into the true meaning behind it maybe because of lack of time or whatever other reason they have.

Start learning Sanskrit and when other also start speaking Sanskrit it will automatically become speaking language of mass. No need to replace anything, it will automatically get replace
