Songkran festival is one of the most important festivals that has been performed for a long time, not only in Thailand but also in other countries such as Laos and Cambodia. เทศกาลวันสงกรานต์ เป็นเทศกาลสำคัญที่มีมานาน และไม่ได้มีเฉพาะในประเทศไทยเท่านั้นแต่ยังไม่ในประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน เช่น ลาว และกัมพูชา It is also known as Thai Traditional New Year’s Day, which falls during April of 13th - 15th every year. เทศกาลวันสงกรานต์ ยังถือว่าเป็นประเพณีส่งท้ายปีเก่าต้อนรับปีใหม่ของไทยตั้งแต่สมัยโบราณ เริ่มตั้งแต่ 13 - 15เมษายน ของทุกปี The word “Songkran” derives from Sanskrit language and means to pass or to move into. คำว่า “สงกรานต์” มาจากภาษาสันสกฤต แปลว่า ก้าวขึ้น ย่างขึ้น ซึ่งเป็นการนับปีใหม่โดยวิธีนับทางสุริยคติ Songkran festival takes place over three days every year, on the 13th - 15th of April. วันสงกรานต์มีทั้งสิ้น 3 วัน คือวันที่ 13 - 15 เมษายน ของทุกปี Do you know of any activities during Songkran Festival? Yes, sure…Songkran is very famous. We know that most of people splash the water on each other. Travelling around Thailand is perfect right now not as many tourists, only have to wear masks in places like Bangkok and in shops so not too bad

Awesome video…brought back memories…I learned to scuba dive here in California… plenty of amazing diving spots along the California coast…down to Baja California… exploring around Catalina Island is incredible fun… Are there sharks in those seas? We have a lot of monster sharks off California, including Great Whites. On my first ocean dive I saw both a Great White and a Tiger Shark. You never forget that! Thanks again for sharing this new adventure!

WOW no way, that would be crazy seeing a great white and tiger shark whilst diving, there are reef sharks but not any dangerous ones around these waters.

Could you told the name of the restaurant and hotel? Any recommend more? Many thanks.

Just found you guys doing a search for dive classes in Koh Tao! I'm sorry I hadn't seen your channel before, I picked up on La Bombona Dive School from Denny and Nikki, and thought I would see if there were others that went there. Thank you for confirming that I'm making the right choice. I've talked to Bryan on WhatsApp and he seems really cool! I subscribed and will continue to watch your videos here while I'm staying in Phuket Town before I head over to Koh Tao sometime in July or August! Do you have a recommendation for a place to stay there? How was your room on the island? I'm just curious as I'm going to have to book something for my stay. Thanks in advance and have fun...oh, my wife is a Filipina and I love snorkeling at Moalboal, I'm sure scuba diving there would be awesome! ❤

We stayed in Budchui village 2 it was a great price and very nice but need a scooter to get to the dive centre, but definitely recommend that hotel and La Bombona! They are both great

You can dive until 18 meters as an OWD 😉

I thinkI am qualified to 20 meters but the training only takes you down to 18 meters, well thats what Bryan said. :)

I noticed you have a life straw water bottle, do you like it? I’ve heard it leaks a lot, have you noticed it does?

Honestly it is great, and I do recommend it, but to be fair it does leak a little, however it’s saved me money and SO MUCH plastic!
