Thoroughly delightful and satisfying video. I loved the gilding master's shop! Yes it fantastic to film master artisans at work before this special knowledge is lost or no longer valued. So much care and consideration-I love your choice of the soft pink matte board and the gilded leaf frame-beautiful! The little watercolor you made at the end was a perfect way to end the video and so refreshing to see artists taking a risk, trying new things and showing their process and not just finished products. A day at a art printing company would be very interesting too. All arts and craftspeople need this recognition!

I worked in a frame shop for fine art pieces, it is an exact science, no room for error, I remember the dust specks its so difficult to keep it pristine and the more you open it the more dust gets in so that is why he used the tiny piece of paper to get at the speck of dust. I loved framing. Tell him its nice to see masters left, my teacher is long passed on. Beautiful results.❤

This has given me perspective. For a long time, I have been undecided on being a regular digital artist or traditional artist so it became very hard to decide but I know my heart loved digital art cause of innovation and infinite imagination but also wanted to be a fine artist in my field. Since a few do this, I was unsure to a leap of faith to do give it a chance. Also soon I'm making vlogs like this with my own spin with a balance of life + digital fine art paintings (plus freelance). I know in my head it's saying I cannot but I need to constantly remind myself of why I am doing this and what you said, 'imagination starts from a thought'. Thank you for being my inspiration. ❤

It was such a wonderful, slow breeze. I have been talking about the art of these traditional practices, to my partner. Its so important to learn from them. I have taken up knitting, and am enjoying this journey, but would love to learn about other crafts such as this Gilding. Please share more of these Valerie. x

Thank you Valerie 💕 It is so amazing to see people who don't rush their work. We live in a time wherein a lot of people overuse the word urgent and asap. Watching your video is so refreshing. I always look forward for your new YT post. Take care and lot of love from the UAE.

I love you, Valerie. I never met you, but I do. God bless you. I was fascinated with the craftsmanship of the gilding master and then by your painting and choice of architect.
