This month I was hoping to have my Skydiving A License completed but unfortunately the wind and weather would not allow me to in time. Going to keep trying to go out on better days, hopefully before this winter weather fully hits. If so, I'll have to travel south to finish since I don't want to wait until next spring to start again.
For my Bday Alex & John sent me some gifts I showed on this video. I have also been taking the time to try getting this custom pixhawk drone back in the air. It's been nothing but trouble so been thinking of just using a different flight controller and keeping the pixhawk to try out a small rover I've been wanting to build.
While waiting for the weather to clear up a bit I was able to meet up with my ppg instructor, chris, who's been teaching me to kite a paragliding/paramotor wing. I ended up getting one a bit back so after a few tutorials out on the field we also got to launch off a small hill for practice which was really fun. Later in the evening Chris' buddy Brandon was available to take John and I up on a tandem so I was able to capture some clips of John's takeoff and landing for you guys to get to see what it's like a bit. I will try to get the footage he shot of my flight.
