I love this series! I have told my entire family and friend group, that i will happily mend any socks they have that need it. It started with mending handknitted ones that my late grandmother made and now i have moved on to mending "traditional" cotton socks too. It's such a relaxing activity :D Someone once said that it helps to remind yourself, that even if the mend isn't pretty or perfect, it is still always better than a non-functional garment - i really love that sentiment. I also love the idea for the cocktail night - and fully endorse all three choices! Chris Pine is my favourite Chris!

Love that! I was always intimidated to mend clothing, until your videos. Sometimes the finished product is a bit crooked, but that adds character, right??! 😂

Yes to normalizing imperfect mending!! I've started organizing community mending events and this is exactly what I'm talking about 😁Mended garments become more meaningful, even if the result isn't "perfect"

Thank you for mentioning the problem of sometimes forgetting to be your true self when living with a partner and for talking about just doing stuff you want like running around or climbing on a tree and how happy it makes you 😊 I can relate to that so well! For me it's things like dancing around in the house or singing loudly which I do so much less since I'm not living alone anymore. Fortunately I'm slowly getting back into it, since I'm actually getting married soon and don't want to live my whole life without actually being myself :D It's still a learning curve, but I'm getting there 🎉 it still helps to be alone at home sometimes 😁

This is my favorite series 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’m so glad you keep making episodes! I’ve been learning to live “alone” while living with my parents after a breakup and your videos always make me feel so much more capable

When you ran up to the stage, jumped up and ran back down it reminded me of myself running the football field bordered by the high school track I had been running on (I was 30 at the time). Because I just had to do it! 🙃 I also ran the hurdles that were set up on the track that day. I was all by myself because it was summer and no one was using it at that moment. Sometimes you just need to do what moves you.

I’m reading it now and I think it’s stories are something you’d really appreciate. The author ties together information about her indigenous culture and practices with her own wisdom about life and sustainability. If you haven’t already, I totally recommend giving it a read when you have the chance!

I get it, it is infuriating, we should practise existing outside of our roles and expectations, but makes such a huge different on the way we perceive ourselves

I didn't read the other comments so sirry if this is a repeat, but for your red dress the prettiest way to mend it would be to poke the end of the ribbon that is ripped into the hole and to sex a straight line on the inside of the dress, following the existing stiching on the side seam :)

be proud, you're doing a great job! as one lazy seamstress to another; one super easy hack to make the red dress looking a little less diy: take a lighter and -carefully!!- burn the frayed edges of the belt down a little. The dress definitely seems polyester, so that should work just fine. if you'd ever want to get your needles out again, just pushing anything with a frayed edge towards the inside really helps. so If you'd not mended the hole first, but pushed the frayed end of the belt through that hole and then sewed enerything together, it would have looked professional ;) but I think you did a great job, and props to you!!

Thank you for the tips - but the dress is 100% cotton, as I try to wear as little synthetic fabrics as possible, so I decided it best to not burn the edges 😅

I am from Croatia and I have never seen this drink (but thats not weird, I rarely drink and even when I do, I drink beer) anyways... the label said nothing about that glitter stuff which makes it suspicious 😳 idk if Vanja read it and confirmed it was safe but yeah you would think they would put something safe to ingest inside but you never know 💀

It's faux leather so it's not made from animals. Usually vegan leathers are made with different kinds of plastics, but with new technologies it has become possible to produce vegan leather from e.g. mushrooms, pineapple leaves and bamboo as well.
